No worries Jeff, I will get a different one, or might not the one I have now bent back pretty well :D:D

After further inspection the whole cage is coming out. I just can't save it the way it is now.

Not that there are a ton of damaged bars its the fact the B pillar is messed up really close to the bend, no way to sleeve that or make it strong enough for my likes.

I really don't think I can cut all the bars out to their exact current length and just redo the b pillar either.

Going to be a whole lotta new tube in my future

Eric there is a new grant wheel hanging on the wall of the garage. Thats a real bummer on the cage, lets go get a pile of dom!

Its not new, I have never bought a steering wheel. I just want to buy one I think :D

Yep time to get a mess o DOM

Lol yeah i figured new was a bad way to describe it after i posted. There is some kind of wheel on the wall, or you could get a little tiny grant made of chain, that would be cool lol

I have one of those, it is like 6" in diameter, was on a dune buggy my grandfather had. It was the only way I could get into that tiny little thing.

I have started to like my seat a bit further forward so probably get the smallest normal one they have

Once again Eric, I am just glad you took the time to properly build that cage and protect yourself and your passenger. Everything else can be rebuilt, you cannot! Speaking of cages, how about doing one for my Camaro? Just need a 6 point probably, although it needs to allow my fat butt to get in and out.

Thats easy Jason, if I can get my fat butt in you will be fine!!

Lemme know when

Eh, it is pretty much on the back burner, and I am considering pushing Krusty back as well. My Dad has a 41 Chev flatbed pickup that belonged to his Dad, and I am thinking about bringing it to my house and getting it done for him. He always wanted it done before Grandma passed, but he didn't get there, now I think it might be really cool to get it done for him now that he really doesn't have the movement to really do it as easily. If I go that route, the Camaro is coming out into storage, and the Blazer will remain stored while I focus on it. I think it is a much easier project than the Blazer or Camaro, and I know it would make him very happy.

more pics cause I am a pik whore.

I have a few that I am going to send in for calender pics.

See if I can make it 3 years in a row!

Yah engine cage saved the radiator the neck is a little crushed but its not leaking. Still its going to need fixed.

I am going to add some to the engine cage too, air cleaner is a little bent up:D

We had to winch it a bit to get the nose to fit in a hole so it would flop over like it did. If that hadn't of worked we had thought about cutting the cage off and trying to get it out between 2 rocks. Not alot of ways out of where I was

Stay tuned for a new cage build, the way my b pillar is bent I can't just replace the bent tubes. Since EVERYTHING hooks into that dang b pillar its going to be new cage time

3 years in the calendar...awesome, I nominate Eric!

get a butterfly wheel!

Eric, I got to say it as I keep thinking it every time I look at these pics of the roll.

I look at that and I saw that roll coming a mile off. Way, way off camber. Infact in the video, I kept watching the truck teetering (I think the suspension was right on the brink of unloading, between up and down) as all your buddies were saying slow, slow.
Then it went over.
IMHO, it was an inevitability of a roll over on that particular line. Just my $00.02

I'm glad you didn't get hurt. I guess this kind of throws a wrench in the wheeling.

That obstacle there is a high likelihood you will roll.

I knew that, one of the reasons i have never attempted it before.

I can still whell the jimmy a little

This roll and forthcoming repairs have prompted the voices in my head to get louder though. I am listening this time too

you gotta keep in mind though that obstacle has been made only once, by a blazer on 40's. its a tippy situation but I wouldn't say its a for sure rollover. Eric wasn't quite on the line right and there was NO air in 2 of the tires, just a couple minor adjustments and he could have made it.

That reinforces my theory about tire pressure, and I bet you my K5 that I had would have made it there esasily, because I had a stiff suspension and my suspension never unloaded like this.
I always did hill climbs and side hills never had a problem, I always had at least 20lbs in my tires and stiff springs.
Each type of wheeling needs different specs and this is where this truck just wasn't the right spec.:pimp:
