Lucky where did you score those from. I can't justify air bumps yet.

They are FOAs I have had them since before blazer bash, scrapped a couple cars and the money went for those.

After puttin em on several rigs and riding in said rigs ( not mine) its hard for me to not justify getting them. Huge difference even in just crawling.

They should help me out alot at the dunes too.

Hmm daystar stinger bumps are only 100 bones... or 189 for the pair... I can swing that. :)

edit nevermind daystars are not air bumps, I'll just wait till FOA is back in business

Those look familiar, make sure you fill them up with N20 before every trip, because mine won't hold it on their own unfortunately. I did get all the shocks to stop leaking oil, but the air bumps still leak air over time. Hopefully you have better luck than I did. JD will send you parts if you need them, they are good about that at least.

I will keep an eye on em Heath but I have several friends running these and none of them have issues

Thanks for the heads up though

can also check out profender usa (a vender on here...) pricing is pretty good for the apparent quality.

your welcome for that btw, its nice I finally get on here and read your build thread and find out how much credit you take for my hard work...

haha jk man I love horton, working on and driving him is a damn good time. Btw Matt and Keith is was good meeting you guys when you came up, and I agree the shop looks way better with your burb in there than that crusty old dually that previously occupied that space.

Stupid wiring question of the day.

My turn signal switch the white wire has been broken off or something along with the dark green wire.

Would this affect my brake lights?

I don't have brake lights, it seems there is no power as it comes out of the junction block. The only fault I can seem to find is in the turn signal switch.

I also have right turn with the hazards on or just the turn signals no left turn signal and no brake lights.

I have tail lights, and both front turn signals work

Does your junction block have a separate section to feed the back?

what color wires....I think there are two different colored wires feeding the brakelights/turn signals to the back, but if your turn signals are working in the front I think the turn signal switch wires that got cut shouldn't matter to the back. Got good grounds?

yes, there should be a yellow and dark green I think going to the rear turn signals and brake lights. is that the dark green you are talking about being broken or is it one going to the turn signal switch?

The brake light and turn signal are fed from the same wire so I dont understand why the right brake light wouldnt work but the right turn signal would.

FWIW the turn signal switch in my 85 k10 has a short in it that will cause the left rear turn signal and brake light to quit working sometimes. But that doesnt explain why neither brake lights work on yours.:dunno:

Im not the greatest with wiring problems but I believe checking for good grounds is a good start. Seems 90% of my light troubles have been bad grounds.

Replace that poor buggered up turn column wiring... We really messed with it to make it work for Moab, haha

Yah planning on it Russ, just wanted to see if I could confirmation that, that could in fact be the whole problem.

By the time you see Horton again Russ I think you will be pleased with my wiring, well maybe not pleased but at least not annoyed by how I did it :D

Dark green and white is broken on the turn signal switch, its the female end coming from the top of the column

I have no brake lights at all, only the right turn signal works, but no brake lights at all.

The tailights work fine

I tied his rear brake lights directly into the brake switch on his old wiring, there was no way he would ever have working turn signals that way... The column wiring is not working correctly, has problems with the contacts in the switch.

More than likely, replacing the turn signal switch will make everything work 100% again with the new wiring he installed.

I didn't realize you had done that Russel, well new turn signal switch it is then.

I need more practice soldering
