How to remove trim, molding, and glass on a Suburban? Prepping for paint.

Got the passenger side glass all done! All thats left now is the driver side rear door glass, then the barn door gaskets, then wheel arches, molding, and bumpers. Getting close!

No front side marker lights yet. Those are so easy to do.:haha:

very nice, very nice...

just curious: are you planning on making the a/c work after all this work?

Looking good, except it looks like ya got a thread hanging in that first pic.......

With my luck, this is about the point where the hailstorm would show up......

If that is the lace that came out of that window. You need re run it so it all fits, you stretched it out to much. Don't cut it off because it will shrink up over time and be to short.

That's the lock strip. I need to pull the strip back out and reinstall it without stretching it. Thats project #1 now that its flipped back around in the garage. And yes, my next "big" project will be the A/C! Specialy since the Windows barely work now with the new felts!

cool...(pun intended)

Glad I saw your paint job, I've been thinking about doing my 90 in a solid color. I guess it was "hunter green"...I checked the panel under the steering column in the sunliight, it was metallic and actually looked good.

I would like to do the whole truck in that color.

Your rig really looks good. :thumb::thumb:

thought you would like that. Did i spell your name right? Still gotta locate a correct set of bumpers.

Got the driver side all put together!

Nope it's burg.
Ok, but bumpers are easy to change out later.:doah:

If you can believe it, I haven't scratched it yet! I did let the broom fall on it so it got that but it didn't leave a mark.

I think I will probably run the front bumper I had on it, but there is no way I'm going to waste my time putting rye rear one on... It was just toasted.
