How to remove trim, molding, and glass on a Suburban? Prepping for paint.

Starting tomorrow we are getting 5 days straight of rain, 5in or so they are calling for . Great for the Mudfest on Saturday, not so great for the impending heated/cooled pool in my basement. I have a feeling around here at least we could have 2 horrible harvests in a row, tractors buried all over the place or fields still untouched, because of tractors buried all over the place.

Just about excited to work on this thing again. Going to wait at least 30 days this time before i put the new seals and some of the other stuff on. Just in case. In the mean time, there is plenty to do... I need to make a list. With the nice weather getting to being here, it reminds me of how good i felt on this day,

That doesn't sound like fun.

Is, was, and will be.

Should go a bit easier than last time! I really need to make a list of all the stuff i want to do. It will go something like this,

New front window motors
window relay mod
new dash/dash cover
new cd player
fix exhaust leak
re-wire the motor

Looks good now put it back together and enjoy it.

Why only one hub cap?

Cause I only have one Chevy one. I just pmed Martin (82355) to see if he is interested in selling a pair of fronts. Ultimately, this truck will get the aluminum wheels back in it and the steel wheels will get painted white and put on the 78.

I have a set of 2wd caps that were cut out to work on a 4x4 application.

Got the upper core support painted this morning. It was immensely aggravating. When I started, it was a perfect Saturday morning. By the time I got it masked it was hurricane force winds! I was so pissed. Livid even. I laid the primer down between gusts after I made my wind block. Ultimately though I just had to giveup and move it at lleast partially into the garage. Anyway, here is a rough time line of the morning.

Looks good. It's all about what you put into it.
