Well............maybe not. That is one nice looking stock K5.:waytogo:

Thanks!! We have enjoyed it!! The Kids loved it when I took the top off. At first i had all kinds of plans to do this and that, even thought about a trip to Colorado to do some trails... But honestly it's just too nice of a Blazer to off road, tear up or change... Heck, I've found myself not driving it if there is a chance of rain.... Now, things have changed and I'm thinking of selling it...

I just spent the last few days lurking on this thread, HOW AWESOME!! Here's mine, I just sold it to start a new project

It's a 1990 V1500, tbi 350, 700r4, 4.56's locked front and rear. 6 inch unknown lift, spring front w/block rear 35's, 15x10 wheel, unknown offset or backspacing. I bought it from the second owner that purchased it with only 10k on it. He was in his 70's and built it up like this for his beach house in North Carolina, complete with onboard compressor.

My new Project

I found this on CL, purchased it on eBay. It's a 1987 3/4 ton, tbi 350, sm465 with only 70k on it. Only the first registered owner, previous military truck. RUST FREE!! Plans are to keep it the original doeskin tan, black grill. Probably 8" all spring lift with surplus 37's and some old school hurricane wheels (love them). Sure to be doing a build thread whenever it arrives (awaiting transport truck). It may also receive a 454 transplant that I had built for my previous burb but the jury is still out on that right now.
It's stock height with 265/75 16's. Far as I can tell 16x8 wheels.

Oh, yeah...new member second post, see above ^^:D
