How will my K5/truck look with xx" tires on xx" of lift?

can you see the helper spring because of that gap?

No, it's in plain sight. Just in front of the wheel you can see the front of it sticking out right above the factory spring. When you crawl under the truck, it's an extra spring shackled to the top of the front springs. It's not a substitute for a lift. They are used to help the truck carry more weight, like a snow plow, or in your case whatever was built to attach to the front of that truck.

Most half tons only had two leaf springs in each of the front spring packs. I have seen some that had three from the factory. Looks like an add-a -leaf to me.

Nice eyes 496. I thought it was just saggy butt syndrome.
Must have been for those Texas hunting chair rack things.

this is like detective work! add a leaf it is.

how much lift would be required to fit 35" for daily driving and occasional light off roading? what website vendors have lift kits? thanks for the info.

Check out offroaddesign.com for lift stuff. The Ez rides they have are supposed to be best ride for the price from what i hear. I think 6" and 35s looks best, but i like the look of some open fender space as opposed to the tire being stuffed in there. Use the search button to look around. Plenty of threads on lifts and what other stuff will need to be replaced for certain lift heights.

Or go to the vendors page on here ORD has its own thread. Besides you can contact the directly from here as they are usually lurking around and will answer any questions you may have. Way better than calling some help line and never talking to the same person twice.

Tranny tires and lift? You are definitely showing signs of the disease. Hope you saved you pennies.

If you call ORD you will be able to talk to the same person every time.......

@oclenox
The rims are from Summit ,the Lift is from Truck shop Lüneburg also you can get there Tuev for the Lift. You have to pay 500 Euro's for Tuev.
Tuev on the rims forget it. I'll be lucky because the same sice is in my Papers. So who cares?

Here is my truck with the new lift on it. 11" suspension with a 3" body lift on 44" Gumbo Mudders.

Hey, I saw your truck at some apartments off 121 and Lake Forest. I was walking my gf's dog and walked over for a closer inspection. Very cool!

did you cut your fenders? what is that plastic cowl piece called?
great looking truck, ideal wheels!

37s?

Would i be able to clear 37x14.50s with a 4 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body lift? i dont go offroad much so im not looking for flex. just the occasional mud hole :D. if not how much would be required? i dont want to trim the fenders much if any but i wouldnt mind just cutting the corners off.

You "might" be fine with that setup. A lot of variables go into play and every truck is different. I think worst case you'll get some contact when you turn and flex.
