it's usually cheaper to buy it from one of the Corvette suppliers like Eckler's - or look on ebay. failing that, I have a 1975 C3 tank (there are differences between years) - though I've no idea what shipping would be to you....

The filler is different due to the big back window.

I was actually thinking about it.

If I can't find a tank, why would I be able to find a "fuel injection tank"?

The 1982 Corvette tank would work, as they had Crossfire Injection, but I haven't checked for them.

Yep, just checked Rock Auto. They lost the same amount of fuel tanks for an '82 as they do for a '79.

something to keep in mind - you know that the TBI based EFI runs are a far lower pressure then a modern, port EFI system? If you're planning a TBI, which runs at 11-13psi, great, but if you're planning an LS swap that runs at 45 psi, you're wasting your money buying a specialized fuel tank.

He never said he was going LS, TBI, or anything, that's just the peanut gallery trying to impose their will....

true - but in case the peanut gallery gets him to thinking "why don't I just," I figured I'd add something they failed to mention.... though nothing makes a peanut gallery disappear faster then someone following their advice.

This car needs a big block. And side pipes.
And an American flag/screaming eagle air brushed on the hood.

I have a 76 Corvette that is tentatively going to get a 6.0 LS motor - but there is a very large heart-tug to put a built-to-the-nuts BBC 427 that runs only on race gas.... no matter what it gets side-pipes, manual transmission, power steering delete, and heater delete.

I agree on the first two. No airbrushing though.
