No for Chinamans, this year.

Will sit for a while. To many other things to work on first.

But this ecalated out of control fast.

Friend called from Ca. I told him about the truck.

Barry, what are the plans?

Wade, strip body, shorten frame and stuff, but Blazer body on it.

B, what is going to happen to the Blazer rolling chassis?

W, strip the stuff that can be saved for the Jimmy.

B, running complete chassis, right?

W, yes.

B, so you will have a titled truck cab left over.

W, yes.

B, so stick my axles that are in your barn under it.

W, your D60, 14bff, brand new with detroits and 5.13:1 axles?

B, yep.

So now I am swapping bodies and building a buggy with a climate controlled cab. Will narrow the cab first. So I guess I will have to start 2 build threads later.

Living the dream... :saweet:

:haha: :haha:

No. Imagine a white truck that looks like it was in a demolition derby.

Ok. Here's the first thing that came to mind. You didn't tell us it was a crew cab.

The 5.13's are way too low for what you are doing. You need 4.10's and the lighter 10 bolt. I will swap axles with you just to help with the build. You don't even need to pay me any money!!!

Drivers side looked decent, passenger side not so much. Still a great looking truck. Can't wait to see the build, that is if you take pictures this time.

Wow. Can't trust law enforcement these days. Trying to take advantage of senior citizens.

:haha:

I know you're in CO, but I want to point out that around here that would be considered a perfect, rustless expensive new truck. It's hard to find even a 3-year-old truck that clean. [Insert some random, meaningless gripe about how the folks out West destroy so much beautiful sheet metal.]

This.

After driving it again this morning, it is almost too nice to use as a donor. But I have never been accused of being normal.

I will send the sheet metal to you. You pay shipping.:D

I have no use for it.

It is too nice for a donor, but that's no reason to stop now. FULL SPEEEEEEED AHEAD!

I will have to disappoint all of you. It will now sit for months. Too many other things in front of it.
