Specs:
  • $265,000
Originally built back in 2015. One-of-One, custom ICON Reformer. Impossible to duplicate at this price, and we will not repeat the design anyway! That is part of why these custom ICON projects stay so special. Only 1200 miles since completed, the owner said it was too perfect, and he was afraid to drive it!!!

Door activated AMP Research powered steps, with courtesy lights
Evolved windshield wiper system, performs far better than stock.
Extra-large locking steel center console, housing seat heater controls and the Pioneer DEH-80PRS AM/FM/CD/HD head unit. Focal speakers (with separates), JL Audio bass, and two JL Audio amplifiers. Removable top tray within console.
Custom seating, front and rear. Front bucket seats hide three-stage carbon fiber heat blankets. Rear seat is a three-passenger tuck-and-tumble, removable design. Three-point seat belts for all four primary seat positions (lap belt for rear center seat position). Elite Italian black leather covers the seats, along with the custom door and cargo panels. Leather wrapped and hand stitched arm rests. German wool square weave removable insulated floor mats. Line-X polyurea coated interior floors, and body underside (all done prior to reassembly). Extensive use of Dynamat and other heat /noise insulating products. 100% new weather-stripping and tinted (within the laminate) glass. Custom nickel-plated trim. Minor patina on some interior nickel trim, otherwise this truck remains as new.
    Custom ICON K5 badges.
Powder coated original chassis, reinforced and enhanced. Bare metal show quality repaint in a vintage Fiat Blue called Ocean.

In short, a very classy and unique, vintage K5 elevated well beyond the traditional restoration approach. Refined, capable and distinct, without being over the top! PLEASE NOTE: All images are current, except for before, and in process images. Video is from back when the vehicle was initially built, in 12/2015.

In the end, it's still a 1969 Blazer.

Sorry, but I can't see 265k...
I can't imagine how much replacement
value insurance would cost... yeah, it's nice
but it's not like you're going to take it wheeling .... someone will buy it and park it
and wipe it down with Peruvian sheep wool cloths until he tires of it, and then puts it up for sale again... it will probably show up again in a auction within a year....

Icon builds crazy nice vehicles. Thriftmasters, reformers, derelicts. Incredible attention to detail. I like them and this K5 is no different. But it costs more than I paid for my house for crying out loud. Like the guy that wants to sell it, I couldn't wheel it since it's too nice. Cruise to the local cars and coffee maybe, but no way that truck is seeing dirt, rocks or mud.

Like anything else, there is an ass for every seat. I don't think it will be on the market long. Icon has a waiting list for builds.

Way overrated. I'll echo what was a stated above. No links. It needs links on both ends. It also need some one off wheels. And non cheap tires. Whatever is the most expensive dirt tire. It needs those. Not some bfg all terrains.
So the truck has a high level of detail. Big ****ing deal so, does alot of cars and truck that roll out of hot rod shops. That doesn't make it worth 265k. 100k? Sure. I get it that it's not free.
Reading that add is like listening to Ron Burgundy. "You can sit in the rich mahogany color seats and and drink Scotch while reading your many leather bound books"
Lol. I mean it's literally advertising it has four seat belts and custom column stalks...
You can tell they are marketing to a yuppie instead of a gearhead. More talk about the leather then the enhanced chassis. What does that mean? I would expect it to be fully boxed.

But,,,but,,,but it has:

" Minor patina on some interior nickeltrim,"
So,, basically rust ??

" Restored stock in-dash radio."
"and the Pioneer DEH-80PRS AM/FM/CD/HD head unit."

So,, it has two radios ??

" Custom hardware on column stalks Custom machined doorlock knobs"

So,, You pay Machinists to stand around all day and make door lock knobs?? Check.

"In short, a very classy and unique, vintage K5 elevated well beyondthe traditional restoration approach. Refined, capable and distinct without being over the top"

So,,in other words...Bullsh*t.

:waytogo: :haha:

Not "original",to me that detracts from it's value..
A nice truck to put in a museum maybe,I'd be too paranoid to drive it or park it anywhere...
I'd rather have a house for that money--better chance of recovering your investment....

If I had the kind of money where I could buy this thing and not have a guilty conscience about spending a quarter mil on a car, then I would cut the fenders and slam 40's under it and drag every tree I could find on the trail.

LOL
ouch, you gone went full retard hate crime waving middle finger in the face of beauty option

$265k...doesn't hurt to ask. There's a sucker for every seat.

& it still has that extra large console!

That truck is dope and has tons of time into it. That is probably close to how much that truck cost to build. Then it's a business and you have to make a little money too.
It starts at 100 grand to have a shop restore a truck to plain stock new condition.
Just because you cant see it doesnt mean it's not there.
I do not part with my money like some, but I think the value is close to the price.

No way. That's nothing crazy. It needs more custom stuff for that price. I understand the shop has overhead but that truck is being sold on the name.
Lots of trucks have LS engines, atlas's and dynatracs, and don't go for a 1/4 mil.

It is just so Plain Jane, has no pop. I paid $6000 for my paint in 2004. I have a ton of creature comforts that that truck does not.
