Introductions & Greetings

Hello!.......visited many chevy forums,and wanted to try this one. I have a `69 chevy fleetside/lowered/front-rear rollpans/350-400-3.83/with a/c. It`s
a project that can only be fund activated, so there have been alot of stops/starts. Just wanted to say Hi.

new here

hello my name is Will from upstate NY working on a caddy powered 1986 panel/suburban

Live in Texas and picked up a 76' Blazer Chalet from a Local Hippie that had to move about 2 years ago. I'll post pictures later. I'm in the process of completely gutting it and turning it into a a lazy man's huntin rig. I joined to get some ideas and technical info.

Good evening gentlemen...

(and ladies) I... am BoondocK5. I exist in a brutal world of burned metal, and scorched gear oil. All around me has turned to ash.

My trusty stead (an 83 fullsize Blazer) is once again undergoing a complete internal organ transplant.
The search is on for twin Rocky's, to go with the 8 inches of tall iron the stead now resides on, plus some real heavy metal to conjur up bumpers and rockers. The heart of this devil is now under construction, 500cid Caddy bored .060, with 10:1's and a towing cam. The 465 and the Dana 24 T case have just got new bearings and seals, and the cage is nearing completion

I am the lord of all that is mechanical. Nothing mechanical lives, without my life giving touch. (All though my crystal ball is broken much of the time). Humans tremble at the mere sight of my bulging Snap on toolbox.

I have heard tale of a great warroir, some call him Resurrection Joe, I wish to converse with this giant of a man. What does Diety use as barter for membership fees?
f@#k you it's comin on payday!

All kneel before your god!

my weak side wants out, but I'm not giving him an inch!

Central PA checking in

I own and drive an 88 K5 with a 6.2 diesel in it. It has a 2" spring lift, 3.42s, Detroit Locker in the stock 10 bolt housing, auxiliary oil and tranny coolers, and a beefed up 700 R4. It badly needs a body tub, rusted in the inaccessible places.

I'll post a pic when I find one.

1989 V10 Blazer

Thought I'd introduce myself. I've lurked since I bought my 89 last year, and just posted my first question in the general forums about a lift. This is a great site with lots of good info. I've driven my Blazer every day and really enjoyed it. I get lots of compliments on it.

It is nearly 100% original and in very good condition, with only 60,000 miles on it. It's been in Texas and New Mexico all its life, so it is very clean, except for the faded carpet and cracked dash.

Been lurking here for nearly three years, and finally made my first couple posts today.

I drive a 79 K5 with 14" lift and 44's. 454, TH350, NP205, 14Bolt ff rear and Dana 60 front with 4.88's.

Wife drives a 91 K5 with 9" lift and 38's. Stock 350 TBI, 700R4, NP208, 10 bolt ft and rear with crap gears (for now, 14 Bolt ff and Dana 44 front with 4.56's getting prepped for the install).

Also got an 80 K20 with no lift (yet) and 285 MT/R's. 454, TH400, NP205, 14Bolt ff rear and corp 8 lug front with 4.56's for our tow rig/plow truck.

Hey everyone I've been lurking around for a while since my truck has been down, figured I would post up since Its back up and running. Its an 82 stepside 383/th350, 33's etc..not exactly a k5 but all the running gear is :waytogo: . I've also got a stock 85 k5 which was used to transplant all the running gear to the stepside, its on the backburner for now until I decide what I want to do with it.
