Introductions & Greetings

So does the 88 jimmy have a higher front end than the rear naturally? I see some folks doing different heights on the front and rear?

K5s and Jimmys suffer from what is known as sag ass disease. Not to be confused with the “brodozer” look

Hello! New member to the site and new owner of a 1989 Blazer Silverado 350 EFI, 4x4, small (2"-3"?) lift, original aluminum wheels, light grey velour interior with bucket seats and console. It is black, no body rust, a few small dings and dents, and is pretty original, with a repaint somewhere along the way. She has ~201,200k miles and has 4 years on a rebuilt transmission, drive line, and rear differential. Everything works except the intermittent wipers. Rear window rolls up and down with the key, previous owner installed a backup camera, keyless entry, and remote start. So far she needs some larger tires, rubber floor mats, seat covers, and a rear cargo mat.

Bent77 Thnak you and yh shes riding shotgun again lol took a little convincing tho and the noise seems to be either trans or the torque converter im thinking more torque converter tho as ive just found the harness to the 700r4 hidden in the engime compartment and the 4x4 light on the dash has had the wires cut so im presuming the previous owner was trying to hide what im looking for but onwards and upwards and as a heads up to any of you be careful with cardone parts had 2 power steering pumps bad out of the box thanks again
