Hello Group

Hello Group a little bit about myself.......I own a 83 K5 Blazer..its ugle brown and self change oil......yea theres a couple of leaks on her....but hopefully this spring this will change.....new motor, tranny, lift, and maybe axles....we will have to see how things come along. Heck maybe i will get a good ideal from someone here. talk to you later.

So your Into CJ's Also

Yea, I have had several CJ's, from 1946-1981. I've enjoyed every 4X4 I've ever owned. From the Cj's to the Chevy's to the early Bronco's. I guess I'm getting older and want a more rounded 4X4. I've always been a big fan of the Blazer, especially since I had the chance to really use and abuse the Blazer while in the Air Force for 20 Years. Yea, the Hummer came and took over the spotlight, but the Blazer was one hell of vehicle. I am going to build my 1983 as a daily driver and a truck pull wizard.
Hey , Thanks for responding!

83 Blazer

I'm building an 83 Blazer myself, I have a 350, 700r4, and some rear bed panels to replace. I have a SM 465 tranny, NP205 X-fer case and all the parts to put it together. I'm probally going to ****-can the SM 465, because I just picked up n NV 4500 in damn near new condition for $50.00. Guess the guy didn't know what he had. Got some work cut out for me.

Kaufman goose neck 52ft. car hauler w/ GMC 4500 diesel

Need Help! My first trip towing four cars to Fla. I flipped the rig going 48 mph on a crosstown Tampa hwy. I unloade 2 cars in N. Tampa and began to drive to Ft. Lauderdale with a 66 Bronco on the fornt of the trailer and chained to the forward ramps and nylon belts on the wheels. Behind that was a 2003 Ford Expedition secured by nylon belts, the rear 2 spots were now empty and nothing over the rear axles. A slight s turn and a downhill bank merging to a five lane hwy at 45-50 mph and the trailer flipped on its rught side jack knifed and finally seperated from the ball and safety chain and left me facing backward in the truck on the gaurd rail. No one was injured and amazingly no other vehicles on the road were involved. When tis trailer is loaded or unloaded you can reach up on the trailer and easily rock it side to side. I am guessing that i should have moved the Expidition to the rear axles and all the vehicle should have had their suspension compressed to the trailer by chains instead of using straps on the wheels. I have pictures of the mess on the hwy. Both vehicles are totaled and the trailer is ok after replacing the goose neck. I am going back with another load this week and would like to be safer than i was on the last trip. Thanks [email protected]

Hey Everybody

What is going on everybody!!!! The name's Jim. This is my first post on this wonderful site which has reciently informed me on many options that I have never considered before, and I cant wait untill I have the time and most of all the money to impliment these ideas onto both of my 1972 GMC JIMMYs. Thats right, i have 2. the first one i got was a major bucket of iron oxide with wheels and a really crappy 350 (later found out was crappy due to someone being stupid and putting ford pullies and balancer on it.) I have totally rebuilt that one, fabricating my own floor for the bed, using diamond plate, bought a new front clip, and fixed all the rust on the bedsides, rebuilt the 400 sbc to have 10:1 compression, vortec heads, airgap intake, edelbrock 650, and its bored 30 over. running 32" treads , with no lift, and major death wobble, which i am in the process of fixing. now all i have to finish up on this truck is the issue of breaking the driveshaft off, the interior, the top, ( i also need doors, i bought some off e-bay but never got them, and i was too nice giving to much time to let them get to me, so i had no recores through e-bay, or paypal) and mis driveline stuff. The other Jimmy i bought off e-bay, it was located in Des Moines, and when i got there to pick it up i found out it was completly rust free, except for both rockers. It is a lil dented up but nothing that cant be fixed easily. i want to redo this one to be the "nice" one without any bondo on it, and my other one will be the one i have all the dirty fun with. anyways i was just sayin hello to you all and thankyou for inspiring me to improve my "TOYS". Thanks Again
