New member. Bout a 76 K5 a year ago and it's been the biggest pain in the butt trying to chance down problems. I'm ready to set it on fire.

Just picked up an 87 Blazer 4x4. Has a lift, 35”, exhaust, and plenty of rust. I’m doing a complete frame off resto w/engine swap. Here to pick the brains of folks who know all the intricacies of these vehicles. Out of Houston btw...

Brian, Welcome backHello everyone..... I’m back after a long break, so I thought I’d re-introduce myself.
several years back I had an 88’ K5 that I loved and y’all helped a ton with helping me build that rig right. Unfortunately, as family grew and our circumstances changed, I ended up selling it and slowly faded away from the CK5 group.
However, after adding one more child to our family and moving up to to the maintains at 8,500’ elevation... I have me a square body again; just a little bigger.
I recently picked up an 85’ Burb with a bunch done to it already. Now I am going to keep tinkering with it and make another family wheeling rig... just a little bit more tame than my last rig.
It has a mildly built 350, locked rear, winch, lift, 35’s, sway bar disconnects, swing out tire carrier, old school auxiliary lights, and a few other do-dads. I’ll be checking in more often now that I can participate again.
Now I just need to figure out how to attach pictures again
Brian
