Hey all, name's Josh. Used to be confedneck79k30 and confedneck prior to that. So, New but not new. Been a member a couple times! Picked up a 91 sierra 3500 sle 3+3 with a 454 and a 465. Got some fun stuff planned for it.

Howdy, I sent you a PM about your username, I think it's messed up with some of your old ones. :doah:

Hello,

My name is Todd from Lodi, Ca. I was once a member on here known as Tmanofcali, but I no longer have my 72k5, but now I’m working on a 1973 k10. I’ve done some work to her so far, but still have a lot to go. Last time I was on this site was back in 2003 I think it was. I couldn’t log in as Tmanofcali because I no longer have the same email and couldn’t remember my password.

anyways, I’m looking forward to seeing peoples progress and sharing mine. I love learning new stuff too.

Hey Todd
How you been?
Are you going with a mild build this time or a full on rear steer crawler?
:pimp:
I moved from Sacramento to Lincoln so a little further from you but we can still try to meet up some day

hey Iceman....long time no talk. I bought this truck from a friend that runs the fudge shop at Apple Hill. It was their farm truck. It was bone stock when I got it and I bought a friends 1974 k5 that he would take on the rubicon (body was toast) and swapped the axles and tires, crossover steering, lift, and a few small things. I just ordered $1000 worth of interior parts for it. I will be working on that this next month (redoing landscaping right now) to get the inside nice. Then from there I will start doing more as I can. I’ve had it for 4 years, but haven’t done much with it as I met my wife, got married, traveled the world and gained 4 new stepkids (adults). It’s been a busy time. I look forward to seeing what all has changed around here, but I guess now you have to pay $25 a year just to do anything really.

Well I have been through projects too sold just about anything that ran to get through the recession in 08, and I still have way too many.
I also got married and now with 3 kids.
Working slowly on a suburban for overland travel but capable enough for trails like Rubicon and some decent moab trails.
You can do without the membership but it's better with.
If you were trying to post pictures now you need 5 posts before you can.
And to upload pictures on ck5 you still need the membership.

Good evening,

I have returned!!

For those who don't remember me, I hung out here a lot while I lived in AZ and CA, and drove "Burbanzilla" around. After I sold the truck, and had to be an adult with no money for a while, I just sort of faded out of history... But, I'm back, and I'm looking to eventually get me another oversized Suburban... or a 84-95* XJ cherokee... I THINK I can wedge a bigblock in there without too much modification... Only one way to find out tho! In the interim, I'm driving a WJ Grand Cherokee, and a 97 Powerstroke flatbed. Big truck makes me miss my big suburban, so here I am.

Positive, I live in the rustbelt now, where old stuff is cheap....

Negative, I live in the rustbelt now, and there's a reason its called the rustbelt...

*No smog on pre-96 vehicles, or pre 2005 diesels...

It is the right place to be! Plenty of guys here with experience, even in the particular year and model you are looking at

There’s lots of info already on the site, so searching may yield those results
