I cant read so Ill just have to look at the purty pictures.

I just end up looking at the views.

Unlike Duelings thread that gets full of crap most build threads are just that build threads. With few comments.

Thanks for checking in guys, this is a very ambitious build for me to take on myself. Ive done all the normal mods we do to these trucks (flip, 52s,63s, doubler, ect) but when it comes to fabrication its a fairly new game for me.

I'm trying to do most if not all of this by myself or with help from friends. I need to show to myself I can take it up to the next notch so im jumping right in. If there is any input on my fab or anything please let me know, Like i said alot of this is a first for me and some of the ideas I have are firsts or not done very often.

Simple things like I could have bought a diy4x frame boxing kit and been done, I feel like I want to tackle myself and while it may not be as pretty I know I can say I did all that myself. That is within reason of corse. I buy stuff like tabs because I cant much make them for what that cost and I really hate drilling holes over 1/2 inch.

Anyways I got most of the pass side cab portion done tonight, nothing exciting though. I will update pics tomm.

Im watching too Jay

Sometimes jumping in is the best way to attack it....I know if I hadn't just said " f**k it....whats the worst that can happen" my rig or the Willys im building wouldn't be anywhere near what they are now :waytogo:

Every so-called "pro builder" started out this exact same way... take on projects that push you outside your comfort zone, and learn a few small tricks or techniques each time. Before you know it, you'll have a solid foundation of experience to draw from and the bigger projects won't seem so out of reach anymore.

Be advised: A year from now, you'll go back and look at some of the work you are doing today and you'll probably think it's lousy. Don't sweat it..... as long as it's safe and functional, don't go back and try to re-do everything. The better you get at fabrication, the more critical you will become about your own work.
