its been a while i guess ill start a build thread..

After taking the day off yesterday to go see trucks gone wild at Dennis Anderson's and since I'm waiting on parts from ruff stuff to finish up my t case mount, I decided to start on my winch mount/ front bumper/ spring hanger supports, until I ran low on shielding gas and weld started looking crappy. I'm getting more gas tomm as am planning on finishing this part up.

After a delay due to the eye issue and 2 birthday parties and being broke after car issues, I got some stuff done with stuff I had. Picked up 100 feet of 1.625 .120 wall dom

Obviously no where close to completion. I paid 40 bucks for the arms with heims and bolts, 1 buck for the scrap 1 inch, 20 bucks for bolts I'm waiting on, and 25 for dom I'm waiting on. 86 bucks in my getto artec/ double sheer arms.

Great update man. What size steel is that on the double shear upper piece?

1 inch, same as the arms. It's a 3/4x10 bolt, yes I drilled the holes :) there will be a piece of 1.25 .250 wall dom welded to the lower part of the knuckle with a piece of .25 plate bracing it back to the knuckle, like a large gusset. All welding with require pre and post heat for cast.

I guess I should update but there really isnt much to update as hunting season is back in and im pretty focused on that. Got back out in the shop today and man its hard to get going.

Both knuckles are welded and 1 is back on. I installed the outer axle seals before putting the knuckles back on to keep crap out the tubes, thanks to mnorby for the part number.

I also scored 2 1410 driveshafts from my uncle for free. Granted they are stock, 1 is a 3 piece and one is a slip yoke style so I have to figure something out there.

Im planning on running my knuckles backwards and yes it can be done. I need to do this due to the fact im running such and offset pin leaf spring. My tie rod in hi steer would hit the spring itself. Now the only worries are oil pan clearance with the ram and tie rod. Anyways, hopefully I can get something more done with weekend and give you guys and better update.

IDK, whats going on with the pics in this thread. Anyways still trying to figure out a build in my mind. Ive been beating up my blazer pretty good so thats been fun. I picked up this for the banana last week.

You probably asking yourself, I thought he had a doubler already. Well I decided to go drivers drop in the banana using a 05+ superduty axle. Just have to find one. They are huge and if you havnt looked into one and are considering building a badass rig, check them out.

The doubler that I just picked up is a 27 spline, clocked flat on both ends 203/ford 205. Ord 1st gen doubler adapter. Seeing as how the other one I have is not clocked and I dont want to cut my floorboards up and re do my cage in the blazer that will go there. Im planning on running a th350 in the blazer, so im taking this range box off and flipping it with the other range box.
