jeep stuff and now a volvo!

Thought about That. But I don't have room with 3 heeps and a dodge in the driveway.

The wife suggested selling the yellow xj. We don't drive it. The battery is always dead from sitting. But I love that damn thing. It's odd, paid for, low mileage and reliable. I don't have a real reason to sell it. That was our first car together. Brand new and literally off the transport truck.

I just need To get a different house with more room.

What happened to the sweet dodge truck? I put a dana 44 in the back of the blazer, it fit terribly and I bent the tailgate. Even when you have a truck, it has to work to be able to use it.:doah:

Anyways what are you going to work on when you get your garage back?

my brother still happens to own that sweet dodge truck:D

I need more room for assembling axles, finish the front bumper and start on the frame (if that's what you want to call it) stiffeners and the rectangle steel rocker panels.

I picked up a locker for the rear of redrover. a powertrax no slip. im the third owner and its still new. they kept trying to install it in a stock open carrier, but it only fits the track lock carrier. which they didn't have. I just happen to have one of those. $180 shipped was a sweet deal. they are $400+ regularly.

I didn't really need it, but they have good reviews and are sposta be really smooth compared to the other designs. now I will be locked front and rear for next season.

pics as usual

I had one of those in my Ranger's 8.8". I LOVED IT. Best mod I ever did to that truck. Nice manners, withstood me driving it silly, was great while wheeling, and I was able to install it myself without trouble.
I'd run one again in a heartbeat.

I looked up a lot of reviews for it and that's what everybody said. very smooth and great in the rear of a daily driver.

I picked up a slightly used e-locker for my dana 44 front. he said it was installed for less than 5k miles. it looks brand spanking new. it came with the harness and some shims. not bad for $400

did some urban wheeling on Friday in the LJ. I needed to see where the tires will rub at. the rear tires are all over the flares. I couldn't get the fronts axle on to the bump stops and I was in a hurry to get out of there. I will try again and get a better angle, but I think the fronts are ok.

I added a hoop to the front winch plate. and put some yellow fog lamp bulbs in the lights on the bumper. that's it though.

I don't know man, its going to be painful getting your first trail scratches in that thing. Sure is purdy how she sits

my buddy put his xj up for sale and needed a stock radio. so I traded him the stock radio from my 01' for a nice rear seat. mine was all ripped and the lower was broken in a couple spots.
I also ripped out the nasty carpeting from the rear seat back. it smells better now. found some cool stuff under the rear seat.

I sold the 32s. drove around on my extra set of almost bald 30s for a few days. picked up some slightly used 34x10.5 ltb's. they where 16s though. so I bought some 16x7 steelies to mount them on.
its been awhile since I have driven on bias ply tires. uhh, they are a bit rough. especially with the 4 ply sidewalls. they look badass though. I gained over an inch under the diffs.

i have a few more things in the works in the next couple weeks too

i took the track lock apart today. got the carrier all shined up. as soon as i get a chance i will get it installed with the no slip.

installed some 3/4" spacers in the front. flexed it up. got my bump stop measurements. need to finish the fold job on the rear. still waiting for the rear lift parts. they should be here tomorrow. its a little saggy in the rear now. i was thinking it would be worse.
