jeep stuff and now a volvo!

I absolutely love that XJ...... I know it's like a cardinal sin around here (lol) but I have always wanted one. A closed cab sometimes seems like a great idea. Just can't bring myself to trade in the topless TJ, and really can't have 2 anymore....

I really loved it too. It was just the right size and really reliable. I know it's going to get beat to death by my friend. But oh well. Atleast I had it for awhile.

Brown Santa dropped off some parts for the volvo

Re clocked HE341 turbo from a 03 cummins
Down pipe already built for the 240 chassis

More parts are on the way

Don't do it. It's not worth it. Buy a hard top for the one you have.

Dumping the half doors for full ones and some new side windows goes a long way on those. I hate hard top wranglers. It's too difficult to go topless. Plus storing it when you do want to go without.
Keep the soft top. Spruce it up.

Hit the big 20k in the wrangler. So now I'm driving the yellow xj and missing redrover.
My new job is 24 miles from home. So the miles are getting racked up alot more than the past

I average 120 miles per day round trip. I bought my TDI Golf brand new about 1 year ago and I now have just shy of 40K miles on it. You have a nice, short commute.

1 mile from work.. for now. And there is no getting rid of the tj- it has full doors and a kickass heater. In texas, that's truly enough to stay warm enough if you don't care too much about getting wet. It's all good unless I want to get dressed up....

After 12 years of 4 miles to work. 24 miles is big jump. Only take 40 minutes to get there. But over an hour to get home

Got my "nathan's" intake manifold with billet fuel rail. All the vacuum outlets are hidden on the bottom. 3" t-body mount. Effing piece of art. Can't wait to get it installed.

Picked up a good stock replacement turbo on a manifold to replace my non boosting current one. Just temporary. Sucks having a 2.1L 7.5:1 comp engine with no boost.

And the price was right
