jeep stuff and now a volvo!

I saw his thread about wanting to put that big block in his burb. I can't blame him, I occasionally kick myself for not buying it.

On another note your new jeep looks pretty sweet.
 
I passed on the big block. Prob just throw another SBC in there when I can. Which could very well be never

Jamin 's blazer is a perfect ground zero starter for a wheeler/trail rig. Looks cool with the half cab. It'd be at my house if I didn't want to stay married...
 
you know what's wierd? I'm more upset about the burb. I should have kept it. I'm kinda over the k5. Flame away.
 
Wife says the only way that blazer is ending up here is if its free. Lol! Hence the s10 which will be here in a couple months...

OK OK, this is supposed to be a jeep thread. And I still vote for the 44/60 combo in the Cherokee...
 
I was totally set on selling them. Until you came over. Now I'm thinking about keeping them. The problem is i still would need a locker, gears, bearings and mounts for the front. That's easily $1000 worth of parts.

On the other hand. I have gears, bearings, carrier and the Spartan for the d30 front.

All I would have to do is weld either the d44 or the 8.25 rear that I have already and slap gears and bearings in. $260. Done. Weaker, but done. I am really tired of the 3.07s.
 
There is what I want, and then there is what I can afford.

I will think about it while I'm selling what's in the garage.
 
I had put the stinger bumper on Craigslist in February. I had a guy that said the he just had to have it. We have been texting since then. He checks in to see if I took it off.

So. I took it off. Text him about it. He said he will have time to come pick it up tomorrow. So I mentioned to him that we haven't decided on a price. He offers $170. I replied $180. He which is less than I want, but whatever. He replied back with $170... I replied "hmmmm....".
I haven't recieved a reply yet. I might put it back on Craigslist for $250 and see what I get. I really want a full $200.

What do you Think?
 
doing some truck things with the small suv

that's a fully loaded d44 in the back with a 10b rear sitting on top. then a 10b front on the carrier basket.

I was going to deliver the hp44 to a customer when I got the call to pick up the 10b's for cheap for another customer. but the first guy wasn't home. so I improvised.

I haven't had time to do anything else. my older son's baseball finals where this week. I need to get rid of the blazer so I have room to work!

I bet that poor jeep just felt dirty having to carry 10 bolts around...:o

No, its one I built for a customer.

I will post up some pics of its current condition. I think it looks good with no bumper/ grill
 
Oh..and I need a f-ing truck!

There was a 03' 3500 drw cummins 6spd flat bed 4dr with 90k on Craigslist for 22k. I thought about trading the wrangler for it. Just thought about it. That's all:D
