second time. last time I was easy on it because the windows where out and I didn't want mud on the inside. this time I had it up to the bumpers in goo.

I like em a lot. I didn't even air down the other night and they did well.
my brother has them in 33s and really likes them too. great in the snow and on the street. they are a lot more fun to drive on than the ltb's I have on redrover
the Comanche has truxxis m/ts with about 60% tread and he got stopped on an obstacle that I made it up fairly easily.

a friend of mine had them in 33s and traded for 35" km2's and regretted it.

I finally installed the no slip in the rear of the xj. the fluid in there was bad. real bad. I wasn't planning on keeping that axle under the truck this long. all the other fluids where changed already.
the track lock carrier had new bearings but no races. so I had to pony up the $16 for some new ones because the old ones where pretty bad.

it drives a bit different. has a little more drivetrain slop and a clunk as it locks if you get on the throttle while turning. its not horrible by any means. just noticeable.

also, it doesn't spin the tires all threw first after a right hand turn. that's kinda nice. I can actually pull out into traffic.

My apprentice did most of the locker install while i was working on customer cars

here are some wheeling pics. the ice was 2" thick. I forgot to take the pics of the rear quarters on the wrangler that are bent.

That's crazy ice man! All the rest looks crazy slick.

I didn't make it up that hill after the ice hole. I tried it before I locked the diffs. made it all but 6ft from the top. then slid back into the hole. I tried it a couple more times locked, but the damage was done. it was slippery as hell.
pics of muddy LJ. I need to cut the bent pieces off the fenders. haven't had time yet though. it will get washed first
