Yeah, but no party. And I still want to cut some parts off first.

And yes, I feel uneasy about killing some vehicles.

So @Bent77 will be glad that I got a little done today. I covered up the green on the front axle, and got the ORD engine crossmember installed. I even got the front springs on and the axle holding the frame up!!!!!!
I forgot the U-bolt plates at the house, so I temporarily used the old ones. I did get the new pushrods and rockers installed on the engine. I didn't have intake bolts ready, so the engine isn't in yet.
I drilled the sleeves for the spring bushings to make it hopefully easier to grease them. The original holes are small, and I have found burrs in the holes. I went to 1/8" and added a 2nd hole.

This thing is going to be too nice to go wheel it if you aren't careful.

Nah.... I will post pics of the underside of the '90 body soon. You will see why I am using it.
And remember that I just used rattle can paint for all of this.

I'm still waiting for parts for mine, my friend is taking his sweet time. Are you fabbing one up too?

I am going to have to wait on some cash for it, but I plan on using the files that you sent me.

I should have mine very soon. I'll let you know how much it costs me. steel prices have gone crazy with the new tariffs, when i ordered my material a 4x8 sheet of 1/4" A572 Grade 50 was $299. A36 mild steel was $269. I went with the stronger stuff.

So my son helped me get the intake installed and then we put the engine in between the frame rails!!!!!!
Lots of little details to get to this point. The ORD engine mounts will go over the plates for the strut rods which go to the converter cover. I had forgotten to ask them about that, so I was glad that they designed it to do so!
I didn't take a picture when we got done for the day, so I know that somebody is going to give me grief ...
But I had to take a pic before the intake went on, the shine on the head surface is cool to look at.

What's the consensus on torque spec for the intake bolts since i have aluminum heads and intake? I started to question myself about stock specs.
