JR's 91 K5 Modern meets Classic (NV4500 help needed)

Okay that brings everything up to date.

From here I have a lot of the smaller things coming that you always seem to forget. I still need to transfer my wiring harness for my taillights and fuel tank and stuff to the new frame.

Also I need to make new brake lines and fuel lines. I'm running full stainless hard lines and AN fittings so it takes a minute to finish them up.

These are my prototype fuel line and brake line mounts I've been working on.
This is the 2nd design that I came up with just to get an idea of what it'll look like. I'm actually running my 3rd design on my blazer but I can't show pics just yet of it

Yeah I had plans of going nv4500 but honestly the fastest I drive is like 65 and my gear ratio is 3.73 so the 6.0 won't really be screaming that much. I personally like the sm465, tough and worry free. Only real down fall is not having over drive.

I got my body lift and bushings from off road design. I really like the aluminum 1" body lift but I made my own little mods to it.

I glued some rubber to the bottom side of the body lift to eliminate some vibration and noise deading. Just trying to avoid any squeaking and corrosion

Well I got the heavy duty tie rod from ORD and a custom drag link for my blazer.
Both are extremely beefy and well built.

I also have a heavy duty psc box on the way. I already got the pitman arm, removed the four thick splines for unlimited indexing

And after

I need to touch it up with the file before final install

I'm going to after I get the truck running on the road so I can be sure the new crossover isn't giving me any issues, then I'll put the ram on

Well I'm working to get the body off the frame, it's been going pretty so so, so bolts come out easy some don't

I had no idea my seat flipped up this far
