June Rubicon Trip (more pics)

So I guess ill have to pick these ends up on the way up to the con. ive got the systwm bled and im nearly ready to fire it up. I think ill test drive it once its done...hopefully I wont screw anything up. Lol

better find those issue now rather than later

Yeah pretty much. I just want to confirm no vibrations or other issues. I got a grade 5 bolt for a longer stop on the driver side so it would probably smash before the knuckle breaks but ill mark the steering wheel so I dont go past that point.

Ruffstuff opens at 7 so ill be on there doorstep at that time friday. ill call to make sure they have those tre in stock.

cool :waytogo:

My codawg is coming over tonight for dinner so we can pack and get a list of crap we need to buy/bring with us.

Sweet ive been gathering as well.

Got the pig fired up. damn thing starts better than my commuter civic. hydro is now working. Amazing what it can do! test drive coming up...

Just set up our tent and went shopping for food and misc camping supplies. Wanna try to meet up at George town?

Yeah that's cool. What time are you thinking? We're going through gear right now and making a list of crap we need.

aaaaaaaaand...

She runs! I started my test drive with smashing into the garage door trim...apparently its too tall now. so I let the tires air down to 17 and finally got out. Everything went great and the truck drove better than expected. I need to adjust some steering slop out but other than that its nearly done. Not too bouncy without shocks either lol! That was a lot of hard work but it paid off.

ah man, this trip can't come soon enough. Crazy crap going down at work. Also been fighting a damn cold for the past week or so, thought I was over the hump but I fell back these past couple days. Been DDing the blazer last couple days too. Today it was swinging from 185 to 206, which was odd for it. It normally hangs right at 190-192 religiously. It was however, strangely humid but not real hot. Grabbed a T-stat & gasket, fan clutch, and spare serpentine belt. Also borrowed someones 10lb CO2 bottle, just need to fill it.

I guess thats what ill have to do. Then ill have to adjust the ram again I think? I have to test drive this thing tomorrow no matter what.

What kinds of adjustments can you do on your ram? Mine has no possible adjustments. Just curious.

Also: I'm super jealous of your trip!!

My truck was doing that too for a while and I did all the normal replacement stuff but it ended up being the o2 sensor.

probably the rod end. My PSC has about 1" of threaded adjustment for the hiem.

No adjustment on my ram just the steering box itself. its a new box so its loosened up a bit.

Im super excited. ive waited a while and work hard/ spent hard to get to this stage. Plus I can always use an excuse to come to chico lol.

As of right now the confirmed total is 5 rigs. My guys ran into issues like welding too close to a wiring harness lol.

As of right
