Heres the coordinates for the last cell reception before leaving the lake. Its the last lookout which is obvious when youre there.

I'm thinking I'll be there around 10 or 11. traffic will be rough in Sacramento and I'm sure I'll make a few stops

It's not hard to find Loon Lake Campground right? That's what it's called right. Center of lake on the North side? Looks like Ice House Road dead ends into the campground.

Exactly it dead ends at the campground. You'll see a look out on the way up ice house road with some granite blocks. That's where the last phone reception is.
Just in case you gots to holla at the hoes and what not before taking our iron chariots for a spin lol.

Man, that thing looks sooooo sick

We had fun running the trail from wentworth toward Loon and then I snapped my transmission mount/adapter in half, lost 4wd (front shaft was binding) so bmxbryant towed me out. The rest of the guys headed out from Loon Saturday AM, hopefully they had better luck

No worries, I'm just glad it broke when it did and not halfway up the trail.

I'm staying the night in south Lake Tahoe. Going back to Loon Lake tomorrow. Everyone else is on the road ATM. No breaks, no major problems, way freaking cool trip. Eatting Denny's currently
