Wow!! That is a big a$$ crack!

It's not just the rear crossmember you have to worry about, cracks near the steering box are also quite common. Here's a bad one:

Avery I am very curious to know how you feel about your rear shock placment.
You may or may or may not have seen my crew cab build in my blog on here. But with only 4 foot of bed and a fuel tank in the frame rails I dont think I have any other choice but to put the shocks where you have yours. It will be a while before mine is even drivable so give it some time and let me know how you are liking them there.
I may do ford towers same as you or I might just build shock hoops I havent gotten that far yet. I still am unsure of exactly how I will end up doing my bed, but fairly sure it wont be tube.

Now back to building
wikipedia said:A dance belt is the most common name for a kind of specialized functional thong undergarment which is generally worn by male ballet dancers to support their genitalia because various choreographic moves could otherwise produce pain or possibly even injury to the groin parts, and body-hugging costumes would otherwise reveal the genitals.
The dance belt is designed to snuggly support in particular the testes away from the exceedingly painful and potentially injurious squeezing pressure that could otherwise result from the wearer's inner thighs coming into contact with the male anatomy during certain rapid dance movements, for example scissor-like motions of the legs. Both this physical and the visual considerations can potentially detract from the male dancer's performance.

sorry avery. henceforth, i will post no more manties nor manthongs nor any other form of mangerie in this thread.

I mean since its just hangng out there distracting from the rest of the truck.

Also what do you guys think about my exhaust? I had to cut the fourth hangar since it was attached to the bump stop bracket. Hopefully you can see in the pictures but it has one by the back of the cab and two on the muffler... think it'll be ok? It doesn't flop around but if you grab the end of the pipe you can wiggle it back and forth a smidgen
