K10: Built HP60/241-205 Doubler/tons of tube

I'll get some pics up this afternoon. I've been working on the interior cage when I have time. I've been really busy with outside stuff lately though.

TBI is in and done minus powering it all up but I'm waiting to do that after the dash gets started. Should be pretty quick here.

I also ordered a pair of PRP seats through DIY4X that I need to finish the layout in the cab.

So we've been working on the interior cage. Pulled it out for the last time in it's biggest configuration that will still come in and out of the cab as one piece to get some paint on it. This weekend we're going to switch gears and get it fired up to check the fuel injection then next week we'll get back on the interior cage again.

I have also been gathering parts for a custom switch panel that will need to be addressed pretty soon...

Looking Awesome avery!:waytogo:

You guys are killing me on these build threads, i've got cash in my pocket to hopefully pickup a project truck this weekend :doah:

Do tell?
Still doing a 6.0?

Lets not clutter up Avery's thread, but i'm holding off on the 6.0L due to such high cost. Can't justify it on that truck.

But, a presmog, full vert, CHEAP project wheeler....that i may be able to swing :D:doah:

Back to our regularly scheduled program....

Please don't respond to this on this thread.

Wow I just read 79 pages of awesome!

Thanks for having the balls to tackle such a huge project and thanks for sharing it with us.

Wow, that must have taken a while! Glad you like it. To be honest I'm really getting burned out, I work on it a lot more than I even post here and I'd like to just be done and have a life again. My dad is a trooper though and more often than not comes outside and keeps me chugging along. We're in the home stretch at this point though.

keep on trucking buddy. It looks good and solid too.

Looking forward to pics of it all installed and stuff

Fuel injection runs LIKE A CHAMP!

Getting excited now. We just need to get this cage finished up and we're just about done...

Here's a movie of it. It's so smooth and responsive compared to my old setup.

So not only did we fire it up today we managed to get the start of the interior cage in the cab setup in it's final resting place. I need to finish weld the pass through to the exterior part of the cage still but I was tired and done so I'll save that for another day.

That's what's been taking me so long! I'm still nervous about head room but hopefully we can make it work, I'm thinking if need-be I can kick the seats back slightly. I sat in there tonight in some different spots and I can comfortably reach the pedals and shifters pretty far back.

Should be soon, kert said they should ship within 2 weeks. So maybe late this week or for sure next week.

Sounds great Avery, and the cage is looking awesome. Love how tight it is
