Feel free to post more if you like! I thought the first truck was over priced so I figured I would post it and then after I started the thread I found that wonderful '72 and fell in love! Maybe I should change the name of the thread to "sweet C/K trucks on craiglist"

I agree with the 85 being 10 ish on a good day, a very good day.. The 72 would be worth mor if he took off the wheels and didn't mess it up with duals, extended cabs are fairly rare. Thats just my Op. I hate the big wheel kits.

I wouldn't mind having the 72 without the engine and trans. He can keep his wheels and tires too. It would be cool with a oil burner under the hood. The other one is way overpriced. It's a nice truck but not 17k nice.

i was thinkin 10 -12k on both of them.individually of course.that duelly 72 looks awesome.i usually hate duallys but that one looks like it works.

I know of at least one guy here in town been trying to sell a very similar truck. Except with ARBs front and rear multiport fuel injection on a stout 454 nv4500 with a 205. Body is perfection has 33s on it. Dang near everything new. He wants 12 and hasn't had one lick of interest

id give 7500 for the black one because its not all original, just a resto.
if it was never touched probably 10,000 to me.

Now that's just stupidity there. They must have NO clue what that thing is worth. Seen it before.
You'd think the peeling paint would say to them, "I'm not worth 8k, put down the pipe."
I could see that one at 5 if it's as perfect as they say.

I know that there has been discussion here before, but I didn't think they put a 454 in K series trucks back then. Any know for sure?
The reason I ask is that the guy states that this is the original engine and that the rig had a frame off restration.
GM put 454's in K20's and K30's in the 1980's.
