Let's see your twin and triple stick shifters

Depends on cost and your purpose. I probably wouldn't spend too much money on a 203 shifter. 203s are heavy and the chain is weak, and sometimes they tend to pop out of 4loc when you really need it. Also, even when not in 4loc you are still driving all 4 tires which just wears stuff out and wastes fuel, probably not much though. Anyway, unless it was a stock rig, I would consider changing tcases before I spent money on a 203. I'd rather have a 205 or 208. 208 is still chain drive, but at least you can put it in 2WD and its pretty lightweight.

I twin sticked my old 203 just for that reason, worked great.

Awesome thats all I need then :)

Cheap offroad toy, Just doing a little fixing up on it and wheelin it for what it is. Only paid $650 and needed a matching tire, torque convertor, flexplate, trans mount and some little stuff here and their. My DD is a 2003 Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins and I used that all the time offroad but I have came to the end of wheelin that mainly because I dont want to risk it anymore. Just to be on the safe side, if you know what I mean.

Cool thanks for the info, but it would still be a good replacement for a broken one or are their other options out there?

Throw that NP203 in the iron pile where it belongs and upgrade to an NP205, or better yet an NP208 or NP241.

Only when it gives out, no need throwing away something that's working perfectly. :waytogo:
