Lets talk BUMPSTOPS!!

I didnt realize they were that price dave. I had thought u said like $200+ for some reason. Im look into them to when i lift my rig....... Dude!

Let me see if I can find the reciept for them, but I posted in my thread 126 shipped so I'm confident thats what they were. I ordered that particular # on their advice, and they seem to be working dam well. Not harsh at all, and definitely don't feel the "crash" that I have with other simple bumps.

Thats pretty good considering they run 199bux for one set (fronts or rear) If you got all 4 (fronts and backs) for 126, thats a steal.

Dave if you can post the part number that would be great

I quick search on Pirate shows that they are a vendor there and it said they give deals to members on Pirate. I just PM'd them, so I'll let you guys know what I hear.

This is just for the timbren bumpstops not a whole kit, as would be installed for a helper system, as timbren is known for...just the rubbers that are shown here.

Here is a chart of their AEON springs:

http://www.timbren.com/aeon-double-convolution-springs.htm

The ones I got are rated at 4400lb bump load each...#A520-75
Found another supplier listed from 2006, so not sure they are still in business..Talk to Nate at Betts(800-704-4089)"

A520-75 according to his build

Thanks!

Just ordered them. Was the same price, $30 each. He said he didn't think the shipping would be more than $15 for me to Hawaii, but my luck it'll be $100...:doah: Either way, good deal. Thanks Dave:thumb:

I put these DayStars on the front. The were only about $110 each.
No gas ,no oil and the pucks come in different dentcities so you may adjust them how you want.

May not be the thing to use if your racing but, for weekend warriors they are affordable.

can you post up how you like them after running them a while?
I was considering those also, but some bad comments changed my mind, I think it was mostly about the cans themselves not the pucks.
I would be real curious to see how well they hold up.

good for you Z...I think you'll like them, I sure do. Have you given consideration for how/where to mount them?

Just by looking at your pics. I know I want them to hit on the spring plates but until I have them in my hands I won't put too much thought into it. How do you like your mounting so far on the maiden?

they seem to hit in the center of my spring plates by the looks of the dust pattern....Eric suggested adding a bowl shaped "reciever" to the spring plate to keep them from pushing out, but it doesn't appear to have happened so far...I've had it twisted and compressed, and the pattern seems to be consistently in the middle of the plate.

That sounds pretty good to me. I don't have a cage yet, and even after I do I don't plan on twisting it up too bad. I wanted them more to improve the ride and keep the shocks safe.

I've got mine setup so they will fully compress and leave about a 1" of shock travel!

Nice Matt!
you keeping those, or going to airbumps?

The ORIs have a hydraulic stop at the last bit of travel and will just use a small poly bump for the super hard hits so its not all through the bolts/tabs.
