Lifted crew cab dually. C to K conversion.

your just gonna use a ford tcase right?

ps thats totally badass... love crew cabs

Your 1st pic made me wonder what a 6pak dullie w/a chopped pretty short bed would be like.. I love 2 door dullies but love the room in a 4door..That would be the best of both worlds for me.

Any one got pic or remember who it is?
I just wish I had the talent to build one myself.
About a ...4" bed.Just enough to carry plywood/2x4`s still but no longer than a
long bed reg cab.

All it needs is to be all black and have the fenders fit the tires. I might get around to building mine like that.

I have seen one locally that is a CC Dually with a bed that dead ends at the rear of the rear tires. I haven't been able to find it since then, so I haven't been able to get a pic yet.

Although I do believe his bed is way longer than four inches.:haha:

And chiefheaphy that is going to be a sweet setup when you get it finished. Keep up the good work, and lot's of pics.

I guess you could shorten the bed to just barely longer than the fenders but it might look funny.
If I was gonna shorten one it would have to be a dullie or fleetside..a step side would look funny.

Dually fnders are long. You wouldn't be able to get that very short without looking funny either.

Today (saturday) I got the motor x-member in. Biggest PITA. Had to work my new intermediate mounts cause of framerail clearance...the usually this and that.

Gotta get that axle in tomorrow.

Tell me waht you guys think about the shackle angle in the last pics. The reason I am holding it there is because it lined up with a hole that is on both framerails...good reference if the shackle angle will work when weight is applied.

Lookin' good Brian. Front pinion angles looks like it will work....

on to the rear

Got the axle in.

Shackle angles look goo with the weight on em. Only problem is that the spring wrap is making contact with the frame. I'm thinking when the back goes up and the truck levels off it will clear better.
