linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

:D:saweet: But really, what should i use? I was thinking 1/8 on the bottom, or I could just build a shield for it. Or i could stop being stupid and trying to keep the 3rd row seating.

At the very back between the frame rails. Probably just throw 2 255s in and all stock lines.

Got sidetracked again. Brought the burnt Jeep in and started tearing it apart. Then went and picked up the superduty 60 and the trusses arrived. Going to run a 14 bolt rear so i still need to get the front swapped to 8x6.5 bolt pattern.

Then yesterday the girlfriend and i took the rubicon up a trail near empire Colorado. It took 9 tries to get past the very last part because of snow. But i was very impressed with the Jeep. And it was worth the view. So it was a good time to ask her a question.

I’ll try and upload the video of the climb to the top. It doesn’t look near as impressive on video haha

I also bought a super cool breadvan with a Mercedes diesel. I want to put it in the burnt Jeep, but my dad thinks it would make a good camper/tow vehicle. Which is probably a better idea.

Awesome man!!! Congratulations!

Had the rear gears all set up just tore it all back down to set preload on the pinion. Now i think i ruined the threads on it...

Been there done that... Had a pinion gear fall off the work bench and the treads on the end hit the concrete first. Messed them up just enough that I couldn't thread the nut on.

I used a used nut, it was just about tighten up and then ruined all the threads in the nut. Not sure if the pinion is going to be useable

congrats on the engagement, sounds like she's a keeper.

bummer about the pinion, hopefully a new nut will hold

Almost all of it has come out of my pocket. Jeeps were just buying more stuff :haha: I’m really trying to get it done now though. Id like to go to KOH with it in February. And id like some driving before then.

I cut the last couple threads on the pinion off. I have a couple new nuts coming tomorrow. So focusing on other stuff today. Got the orbital valve mounted and the steering shaft made. Gonna try and get all the wiring done and start on fuel system. Might just stick a stock tank somewhere to get it running.
