linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

Great news. Got the axle together. I have to use 2 long side axles shafts to make this locker work. On one side the axle shaft is about 1/4 inch too long, should i put a spacer out there or cut that much off the splines? It seems to have plenty of engagement so shouldn’t be a problem. But if i put a spacer then i could carry a spare axle shaft that would work in both sides. And I happen to have 3 of these stupid axles... i think.

I'd really try to find a gas tank that you can just bolt in. Getting one welded to where it does not leak is pretty tough. I tried to modify one for 8low & finally bought one new cheap from parts geek.

That’s probably a good idea.

Found a ford 205 today.... so i should probably order an ecobox right? Then have a complete 4l80/ecobox/205 triple sticks all ready to go for later down the road? :D

Sounds like way too much poop for way to small a bag!

Dude, I’ve had a Ferd 205 for a couple months now.

ahhh! I wish I could just trade you my passenger drop stuff for your drivers drop stuff! I'm way to far into 8low to turn back though.

Ok I have a 241 transfercase and would like to swap the front driveshaft flange to a regular u joint style yoke. What do I need? Some places say you can just unbolt it and bolt one on. Same say there are different length flanges on some of them?

Ordered a fuel cell and corvette regulator. Should be the simplest thing. Also wasn’t sure where I was going to put the battery since the computer is now mounted where the battery was. But I think I’m going to take the second battery mount out of my wrecked duramax donor. On the firewall on the passenger side.
