linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

just sold a truck for $700 more than i was planning... an eco box is $700... so

A - 241
B - eco-box/241 doubler
C - eco-box/205 doubler.

not sure if a driverside drop 205 will bolt up to an eco box? the way i drive i dont know that i would ever use a doubler...

Then why put a doubler on?

That $700 could be a complete on board air system or a winch, or could cover all the rest of the unexpected expenses that will arise on a big build like this :deal:

this was kind of my thought as well. but i also have very little actually into this build so far so i have some room to spend and not feel like ive got too much into it.

edit: and i already have stuff from the blazer, like a winch, a front locker, i have a rear detroit locker in another axle i believe. already have the nitrous kit...

Depends on what you want to do with your rig. I don't always use mine but it's nice to know if I need it, it's there. Also if you do put it in, your drive needs to be rebuilt. With all the work you have done, go for it!

You'll be making driveshafts for sure, if you put it in now you'll only make them once. I'd say have at it!

Ecobox/205 FTW! I think it shouldn't matter if you have a ford driver drop 205 on the back of it. When I ordered my Titan box from NWF, they asked if it was a ford or gm/dodge 205 I was putting behind it...I think it should work for both, but may be worth a call to pick NWF's brain on it.

I say no on the Ecobox/241. You basically create only having a 3 speed case instead of a 4 speed case with a 205 (since the gears in both the ecobox and 241 are identical, it wouldn't matter which you put in low/high, you would only have the options of 1:1, 2.72:1, and 7.4:1), and added to, 7.4:1 is probably a little too low for this thing. Especially if you are rocking 39's (I believe that is the size of those Irocs from your old blazer, correct me if I'm wrong), I think you would find that being in low/low would be such a low gear that it would be pretty much unusable in many circumstances. I would much rather have the full options of 1:1, 1.96:1, 2.72:1, or 5.33:1 of the 205 route, but that's just me

i agree, the 241/205 is probably better, and the 39.5 iroks are just temporary, waiting on 41.5 pitbull rockers.

i wish i knew if a detroit locker from a dana 70HD would fit inside my dana 70 super. i have the detroit already, and i called yukon a couple weeks ago and they said the gears "should" work. probably should have just used a 14 bolt like a normal person would.

Did you get the 50% off deal? I ordered some 42's on that deal too...I'll probably run them full time on my K5 and put the boggers on for mud stuff

no, i went to order at 5:15 and the had changed the deadline to 5 instead of midnight. :angry1: but i found a local guy that bought some and now doesnt want them, so still getting a decent deal. im getting the 41.5 radials.

suckage...I went to order mine at about 3pm and the website was having crazy issues, was timing out on me, and ended up not fully getting my order in, and after multiple calls/emails, there was nothing indicating the website picked up my order at all. Luckily, my brother had just put in an order for some smaller radials to put on his burban tow rig (that order went through), but after thinking about it, he really didn't want them, so all we did was contact pit bull and have them change my brothers order from his small radials to the 42" bias rockers, and I just paid him what pit bull charged him. I'm just glad I was still able to take advantage of the deal, even if I had to go a round about way to do it

So.... i found another escalade the exact same color, thats slightly front end wrecked...

A - pull the Quarter panel off for this one and part it out.

B - fix the front end. small lift, SAS.... DURAMAX SWAP... and use it as the tow vehicle for this one.

yes, i get sidetracked very easily. I havent bought it yet, but definitely thinking about it.

I think you have ADD and need to visit your local physician...
