linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

sold 2 to my friend, so i still have 4 of them, then found a set of brand new 5.13s for high pinion and 4.10 down case for $150 shipped, brand new. then posted on facebook looking for an air locker before i bought one, and the owner of sketchy vert had a yukon zip locker with the pump and all the wiring/switches, he told me hed take $350. this is probably going to be the cheapest high pinion dana 60 with an air locker ever. haha

the locker was removed because he thought it broke, turns out the people that installed it didnt do it quite right and the copper line broke off. but he had already replaced it when he found that

So in the manual for ARB, it states the locker needs clean dry air. Yet when I look for a water separator for this system I really can't find one. Does anyone run a water separator with ARB setups?

good question, im also not even sure what pump this one is coming with, i dont know that yukon makes their own pump?

Just went to tractor supply in Lincoln. They either didn't have those winches on sale or that deal ended yesterday. Damnit

located 1 set of used coils, planning on starting with 350/350 rear and 450/400 front

they all sold out in lincoln yesterday. and omaha and cozad, north platte still has 2 but they wont honor the sale.

got the rear hoops tacked in place, then decided i was going to make the rear seat fit. this could be a lot of work. but i think if i cut out the center seat and make it only fit 2 it should work perfect.

Also started getting rid of the rear AC lines, so i went to local LS-powered-vehicle-junkyard (outside the shop) and found some lines to get rid of the T for the rear A/C

after and before

Are yukon gears worth the extra $100 over motive? still need some 5.13s for the rear and gonna buy motive unless theres a reason i shouldn't.

Thought I'd read something about Motive being Yukon gears that failed some spec same production line - they generally were strong but more noise..? Could be wrong.

Whenever we do ARB installs in the shop, we don't use a water separator. Also, I would look at USA Standard gears. They're Yukon seconds.

where on the bookface is a good place to look for parts in our area? I really do not get on there much & am usually dissapointed when I do. I check out Heartland Squares some. Any place else? Im looking for some 4:56's for a Dana 60 front & possibly a locker.

Heartland square bodies is where I usually look, I just get lucky because around here there are also a ton of square bodies just laying around. I'll have to check if I have a set of 4.56 and I might know where there is an easy locker

Well I started typing up about the blazer I'm trading for, but I forgot I bought another escalade today too. So here both go..

First, I'm trading my ugly blazer rolling chassis for this 86 with TBI 4inch all spring lift and pretty clean blazer. It has a loud knock but runs good and has great oil pressure. Might stick a 5.3 in and keep it mostly stock just for putting around. I'm also getting a dually Dana 60 with it, ironically one I sold the guy about 3 years ago too cheap.

Next, I bought a 2004 escalade for the tow vehicle for the escalade Rock crawler., it has front end damage but not bad and still runs and drives so you know what that means! It's getting the front clip off the rock crawler for now until I buy a 3RD one for parts.

I'm also trying to buy a 2003 suburban on Monday for the seats and possibly drivetrain for the k5.

Show and tell is over for today.

Still jealous here.....
Almost all of the totals go to Denver where they probably sell for what it could here. But there are contracts between the insurance companies and the hauling companies.
I used to work for a towing company and saw how the "system " worked. I will just call it weird Colorado crap....
