Haha, I'm in orleans, not really near anything. 7 miles from the Kansas border south west of Kearney basically.
Got ready to install the air locker and gears in the front, the locker had gotten so hot at one point that the side gears were melted to the air locking part, so I hammered that off and used an air buffer to get it right back into factory spec. Give or take. And put it back together and got the gears all set up. I really wish I would've drilled the hole for tha air Lin before installed the artex truss, but now the truss has a cool hole in it too!
That axle can carry 20k lbs, it's fine
Probably won't get much done in the escalade for 2 months now, have a lot of work left to do on the van, just ordered a $2500 ms3pro ultimate and microsquirt to control the engine and trans. Who wants to see the fastest full size express van in the country? Lol
And also have less than 2 weeks to get my $1300 camper livable.
Pretty good looking setup for less than $10k in all 3! The duramax does need 1 or 2 more injectors though. I'll fix that in my free time.

That is a nice looking camper. 2 AC units are worth more than 1300!!
It was fire damaged inside, it needs a fridge and 1 A/C unit replaced and then a couple ceiling panels, it's really not bad. I think it was $74,000 new 4 or 5 years ago lol. Has brand new tires and a newish air ride hitch

I'll get some tonight, the girlfriend is cleaning up some of it, then I need to order all the little plastic pieces and ceiling panels and repaint some stuff. There were paper towels right by the fridge that didn't even get burnt. They had to have put it out right away
My girlfriend just sent me this picture, more steering parts, sadly I'm going to be gone all weekend so won't get the front axle completed
