linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

I put 100k(20%) down on this house.

It was a very easy process as a result.

Building stuff is Fun, but having a home you own is better. Imho. I bought my first house 6 years ago when I was 22, that decision and initial sacrifice has put me in such a better place than every equal aged friend of mine.

Food for thought.

Caddie is awesome.

That is all.

Thanks, I think I will be better off putting 20% down instead of doing an FHA loan. Hoping to have 25-35k saved up by then. And they also have like a $95 a month fee on FHA loans I didn't realize when we first started looking.

I just turned 22 and it is funny to see most of my friends still getting drunk and partying 4 nights a week and me and my 20 year old girlfriend are trying to buy a condo and pay off loans, so I think it will be a good choice in the long run. Just might have sell some racecars and racevans..

I would also like to see what house you can buy with 100k down! Haha

Bills suck. Definitely get your finances in order before you get older! If I went back 13 years and did just a few things different I would be kickin some tail right now! It doesn’t take much to get into a bind.

@GWeakland620 is probably getting mad about all these posts and no progress on the escalade...
I am in the minority that actually went for the adult decisions early on in life. I didn't dump money into builds and stuff that was all about the "here and now". Instead I was buying my first house and also paying off loans. Those decision lead to me now having an awesome house on a little land, and a rental across town all before the age 26. My wife and I have very few payments, and are set up to be debt free with both houses by the time we reach our late 40's.

So I am all for your adult decisions, it just sucks that I have to pick someone else to live vicariously through now :haha::pimp:

That's your likely PMI insurance, anytime you're 80% ltv or more it's required. Protects the lender in case you default. My house was just under 500k, put 20% down to avoid pmi.

500k in northern Phx buys you a acre, next to state trust land that cant be built on, with a 3k sq ft custom home.

Have the electricians here wiring up my garage for 220v. Will eventually put a 2500 sq ft shop on the left side of the property.

Jesus, 500k would buy my 2,100sq house and the acre I live on 4 times over.

And leave money for a sun room. Jealousy lives here now.

I could buy the 160 acres my place sits on for that. That would be nice lol

I'm not worthy:bow::bow::bow:...my house was only 72k...

Guy on Facebook had a special today only, buy Dana 60 axle shaft kit and get a free set of Yukon hubs. So I guess I am upgrading to 35 spline now. Good thing I'm working Saturday and Sunday!

Here's a picture of the front axle too. Forgot to give any updates from last weekend.

Got the steering arms drilled and the links made. But I lost a heim joint somewhere. Looked for 2 hours lol.

Lots of stuff happened. Not lots of stuff on the Escalade unfortunately. However this is my last week at work then I’m laid off for winter.

I also ordered the DIY4x knuckle gusset kit. How do I go about welding that on? Preheat and weld?

I also just bought a burnt 2017 JK, so now I have a good front axle for the 2016, and a brand new drivetrain that’s probably completely fine. And a frame for the spare body I bought. Trying to buy a king coilover and bypass shock kit from a guy on Facebook for a JK front too..
