linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

It has a book with every time it’s been serviced, tires changed, everything. Drives like I imagine a brand new one did.

Please tell me it’s going to stay creampuff? I’m not usually one to feel that way but that things way too nice to be messed with too much

It’s not mine... he has CUCV axles but unsure yet. It would be a good daily. If it was mine it would get one tons and 35s for sure. And then I’d probably ruin it. :D

Squares are gonna cross a point here where there isn't any nice original ones. Theres only so many and when they're gone they're gone... Then I guess we'll have to start building escalades and such

Mine was almost mint like that when I got it. Belonged to an old grandpa. All stock except a warn winch bumper and the paint was faded from the sun.

Luke came up today to help me on the Escalade. So naturally we started working on the super duty axle for the burnt 2017 JK.

The 2016 sitting behind it with a bent front axle is really taunting me though... trying to sell that to my friend before I get it fixed to have some more money for a house down payment though.

There’s a lot of stuff to cut off on the 05 and up axles. Mini bandsaw made it pretty easy though. Then used the cutoff wheel to take 2 inches out of the center section I was worried it would be hard to not cut too deep but apparently it’s really easy to watch when the sparks change.

Really tempted to put these under the 2016... and maybe try to sell it with 1 tons? Should be worth $25,000? 2016 with 2021 miles and 1 tons. Almost bought a rubicon case yesterday that would’ve helped the value I guess. Luke and I drove down to Matt Christians in Oklahoma and i was searching Craigslist. 17 hour trip took about 24 hours....

So fix it stock and sell it or put the one tons under and try to get just a little more? I’ll have roughly $1300 into the axles with trusses, so say $3000 when done and under there. Probably wouldn’t make it worth $3000 more though when you can go buy a pretty built rig for less? Still be fun...

Also got these spacers made for the Escalade with about $4 in metal instead of buying the $50 kit. Still need grade 8 bolts though

With it being the tie rods from the hydro ram, they oughtta be fine, no real misalignment there...
