linked one ton escalade (coming back soon)

Although now I am concerned on where the air filter is going to go...
Well, now that the muffler is where the filter box would go, I think the only sensible thing to do would be to locate the air box up under the frame with the intake coming in just after the rear wheels.

:D

We had this talk. You can't make vague, attention grabbing statements and then not post pictures. This is not how it works. This is not facebook.

Little Suzy...."Ugh, sometimes I just like, can't even..."------- don't be a little Suzy.

What’s worse is I completely forgot I posted that. Hahaha

It was just a bank repo avalanche. Waiting on the title so I can get a key to see if it runs and drives.
I had it parted out on Facebook for a lot more than I paid before I even got back to the shop. when I got home and actually looked at it, it’s pretty decent and only 160k miles. Gonna clean it up and drive it maybe.

Paint match the bumpers and lower it on some newer GM 20s.

I still think avalanches are ugly though. But this is what really makes it ugly.

Wait for it..

Wait for it...

What kind of ugly colors are those!?

Got the back of the flatbed that had a crain mount cut off. Then going to add a 4 foot dove tail and slide the bed forward. It’ll be around 17-18 foot long with 7 or 8 feet behind the axle. Should work awesome for hauling the Escalade. Eventually it will get all blacked out.

I’m also thinking about making some removable ramps that go up to the top of the cab to haul 2 2 door Jeeps at once. But that’ll be later. If I don’t sell it...

Got everything to finish up the driveshafts ordered, gonna just use a 1350 at the transfercase in the front driveshaft, everything else will be 1410 though. Then right before i ordered an inline fuel pump I asked a local guy if it was the one I should get and he said he had one off his turbo LS that wasn’t big enough I could have free. Score.

Almost ordered brake calipers because this axle didn’t Come with any, luckily my dad just bought a wrecked 97 ford on copart. Found brakes.

My guys just got back from Texas with this. 4 door rubicon. Brand new tires, lots of aftermarket parts, sliders, bumper, winch, cameras front and rear underneath, brand new handyman jack mounted inside, diff covers.
It needs a windshield frame and probably driver door. And a top. Remember that spare Jeep body I bought last year? Same color even. Taking the lift and 36” iroks off the 2 door rubicon and trying to get rid of it.

Those fenders aren't cheap or easy to install. You've got 2500 worth of stuff right there alone.

So this thing is pretty badass, unfortunately I won’t have a key for it until Tuesday probably. But I spliced all the power wires back together and everything seems to work and with the broken off part of the key I can get it to turn over. It’s only got 65k miles on it. Front and rear cameras hooked up to the navigation screen. Lots of skid plates.

Found a Walmart receipt for an oil change that had the guys number on it so I called him to see if there was a hidden spare key, there isn’t. But he was glad someone got it and was doing something with it.
