Adam, have you not learned anything from Ryoken? Using a wire wheel will burnish the metal which makes the topcoats or whatever difficult to adhear to the surface. Or something along those lines.

I think you can use a hand held wire brush but a sanding disc or flap wheel will work too.

Well i sand blasted mine, but not everybody has that option.

Yeah he was at the YearOne Braselton Bash car show. He took the marker scribbled and Boom a blazer.

My buddies work there and my friends dad is president of YearOne so they hooked me up.

Picked up my new Drivetrain today. L92 / 6L80E Combo. It's a complete pull out from a 2008 Escalade. ECM, Pedal, Harness, Engine, Transmission, Controllers and TCase.

400+ HP/TQ before cam and tune, should get close to 500 after cam and tune.

I'll post pics soon.

Thats unique and not seen everyday. Im interested how the 6L80 stands up against the 4L80 offroad. Very neat idea.

Yes it's the 6.2

I'm hoping it will be a nice unique addition that will push 450hp through a smooth street able LS engine and run 1300rpm down the highway with the 6 speed auto.

It should do quite well off road with a 4.1 first gear ratio.

I am sooo jealous. Theres a burgandy k5 at the dunes with that motor and that thing rips and sounds awesome with a nice exhaust
