MRAINS
I guess I can classify it as a full frame off restoration now. Getting pumped about the progress.

The ride will be way better with the flip and 2in springs, over 6in springs, but to each his own.
agreed. you cant use standard logic when it comes to custom springs. If I read correctly the 6" springs are Stephen's custom springs so the ride will be better than your usual 6" lift springs.
One advantage to the spring lift over a flip is that you won't have the shackle hanging down as far. FWIW

This thing should be sweet when it is done.
Have you checked to see how the motor and tranny is going to fit in you frame yet.
How make longer is the 6L80E then a 4l65E?
Are you going to have to move your crossmember to make it all fit.
Another thing to consider with a 205 is clearance on the tranny for the front CV joint.
I know on the advance adapter kit for the 205 I used had the VSS in it, do you have a way to hook one up on your set up, the computer has to have one.
They are inferior in most ways except for strength to a newer transfer case. This looks like it is going to be a nice driver, not an off roader.
