LS swap in my 87 k5

Thats what i thought, the case i bought is a driver side drop:doah:
the kid said it was a 208 i knew it was a 241 by the vss, but thats as far as i looked.

Well put the motor back in with the new mounts and still hitting the crossmember, guess I'll notch it and see what happens. I did get my auto meter gauges from Ion, they look pretty sweet and got the right t case.

Did you set the engine back about 1 inch? Just curious how yours hits the cross member. The front of my oil pan is almost behind the cross member.

I'm back as far as it'll go with the mounts and plates I have, it's a half inch on the member and still needs to sit down another 3/4-1".

I had Kurt make me a custom set to raise the engine up another inch, may want to mention my name and see what he thinks.
