Is there no test port on your fuel rails? There isn't a place to put that on my truck
I actually have 2 of those lol
For the Holley you can set it to what ever fuel pressure you want within reason. I have mine set at 60 cause that’s where GM used these engine. If you vacuum reference it you could do to I bet 20psi easily. What's the fuel pressure supposed to be on these systems? Thought std used to be like 43 or something for a long time..
Ordering a cheap part then a good part still cost more than just a good part, plus your time and frustration....Really ordering the cheap stuff didn't cost much more in the long run. I've gotten 2 years out of these. And it made it run when I needed it to.
I've gotten enough use to get my money's worth.
I have used both that autometer and the Holley interchangeably, they have the same linear 5V scale and temp range. For the Holley you can set it to what ever fuel pressure you want within reason. I have mine set at 60 cause that’s where GM used these engine. If you vacuum reference it you could do to I bet 20psi easily.
Shady, what sensor style do you have selected in the fuel pressure sensor drop down for scaling? And where do you have the Holley set for fuel pressure?
The regulator.
And if the cheap parts last 2 years, that's a win to me. I've had supposed good parts that lasted less lol.
Apparently like this regulator. Can't think of a better version of it I could have bought. If you specifically want that style![]()
Since you already have rails, I would just use them, you can always change rails if you change intakes or upgrade later, but I don't think its worth the extra cost in rails and plumbing for your current application.I was thinking of doing the regulator after the rail thing.
To do that i can't use my rails.
