LSX454 swapped 95 BASS burb.

Little lower, little cooler, bigger sounds.
I'll have to look into that maybe

Just seems easier to pay the $280...
But, I guess if I don't have to it IS smarter not to lol.

Just hate the idea of my first interaction with this agent being me asking about a $280 window.... :dunno:

I picture myself as the agent.
Looking across the table at what I'm asking, thinking....
"You're kidding me right..?" Lol.

Seriously Rick this is a pretty common occurrence in the insurance industry. Check your coverage policy for comprehensive coverage, it should be included under that provision. If you don’t have it, get it and wait til spring and make a claim.
As far as the agent’s reaction,
I would expect a respectful response and explanation of how this would be handled with your present coverage. Anything less and It might be time to look for a new agent.

I had 2 Suburban windshields replaced in my driveway on the same day, fully covered, 1 wasn't even insured to be on the road at the time (storage/comp only). I'm about to get a 3rd one done. The only one I paid for was on the K5 because it had been totaled, had no insurance and wasn't safe to drive in that state. Of course, the agent loves us as we have 7 cars on the policy, young drivers and pay a small fortune with crooked MI insurance laws.

There's actually a brand new, in the packaging windshield for it on my local CL, that's been there for more than a year, asking $150.
I almost just bought that and changed it myself.

But for the a extra $130, I'll let them do it lol.

My old agent that retired last fall I'd have went down right after it was mentioned.
But I haven't met this dude, and it feels like a bad thing as my first encounter.

Just looking at it as if I was the guy on that side of the desk.

But really, I could see why I alot of people do probably come it asking about it. $280 is a lot more to a lot of people than to others..

Just feels odd to me, because I made enough to buy 5 of them on the 4th of july alone lol.

Still I see that it does make sense to try and get it free if I can, since I too pay a small fortune in insurance, they owe me that much i guess.
I'm fairly positive I don't have comp though.

And that's not something the deductible applies to ...? Is that what someone mentioned?
If it does it's a moot point anyway lol.
