Converting my M1008 from 6.2 Diesel to LQ9 power
Going over my list I need start marking stuff off it. Once this school quarter is over I'll be able to work the truck more.
 
If you work hard to save the money to procure an item, just obtaining it is an accomplishment.

The proof is when it shows up and you get all excited about being able to put it on. It was previously out of reach, now it is real, enjoy.

I used to think that way until I started having problems with space on my shelves for parts that I bought and haven't had time to put on.
I have more than $10,000 sitting for the past 10 years.
That's why I say when you start putting them on is progress.
I know I am the anomaly but I know I am not the only one.
I bought a few of those parts off people who never used them and turned around and sold them 10 years later
 
That doesn't mean they're worthless and you didn't find them.

Now if we become one of those guys that just collect/hoard parts and never build anything, then I see your point.

I did that; bought parts I found on sale or for a good deal. and then when I was robbed I turned in over $50,000 in parts that I could think of. and over 2 years later I still think of things missing that I did not turn in.

About 9 months. Three months in a external fixator, three in a hard cast three in a soft cast then rehab for the foot. She has the right one done two years ago.
