Converting my M1008 from 6.2 Diesel to LQ9 power
Spending money is not progress.
Progress is when start putting them on.
In order to progress I need to spend money.
I know, but the spending is the setback, the installation and use of it is progress.

If you work hard to save the money to procure an item, just obtaining it is an accomplishment.
The proof is when it shows up and you get all excited about being able to put it on. It was previously out of reach, now it is real, enjoy.

I used to think that way until I started having problems with space on my shelves for parts that I bought and haven't had time to put on.
I have more than $10,000 sitting for the past 10 years.
That's why I say when you start putting them on is progress.
I know I am the anomaly but I know I am not the only one.
I bought a few of those parts off people who never used them and turned around and sold them 10 years later
That doesn't mean they're worthless and you didn't find them.

I did that; bought parts I found on sale or for a good deal. and then when I was robbed I turned in over $50,000 in parts that I could think of. and over 2 years later I still think of things missing that I did not turn in.
Shocks from ORD showed up. I'm gonna drop the shock mounts off at a powder coater tomorrow.
Blazer Bash is on hold. Painting continues. Ord shock mounts.

Wife is having reconstructive foot surgery on her left foot August 27th, we asked if they get a earlier date to let us know.
About 9 months. Three months in a external fixator, three in a hard cast three in a soft cast then rehab for the foot. She has the right one done two years ago.
The Ruffstuff tie rod showed up today. It's beefy. Buddy is going to tig it together for me and build me tabs for the hydro assist ram mount. Shocks hopefully will be installed tomorrow.
