M1028- [under new management]

That doesn't look to be any thinker than about 1/8 wall or so. it would have to be a little 6-32 or maybe 4-40 long set screw affair I think to hold the two halves together.. still not a huge deal. I could go pick up the pipe easy enough.
 
I'm not suggesting you run two slip yokes, I am just not sure how else you would do it with an NP208. Unless you brew up some kind of slip yoke eliminator for your transfer case. Due to the two piece drive shaft design, you have to run a slip yoke in the rear shaft between the carrier bearing and the rear axle.

I see what you're saying now. I'm slowly envisioning how it would look.. Surely there's an SYE kit for 208s. I can't easily do splines unless I wire EDM them out...

I figured the bolts (baby screws) would have to not interfere with the ID of the spacer.. Pry just have to look at it and get a little creative. how much clearance would be around the OD of the spacer? Maybe a guy could make some cam-style "lobes" to add some extra meat for hardware to go into to hold the two halves of the collar together....
 
I just figured he would run two slip yokes. What would it hurt? I am paying for that clamp and giving you the drive shaft.
 
Latest vision: Orange with a 73 clip. there's a lot better things for me to spend money on but it would be awesome!
 
Here is an idea. 12 volt with one alternator and a smaller PS pulley.
 
Lets do it. I'm gonna need that starter too. you can have mine :) if I'm screwing with wires I might as well throw in some GM dual battery brackets, and if I'm doing all that I might as well change the front clip!
