Max`s 02 lb7 Sold.upgraded to 2012 LML

The end of an era...

Sounds like a cool fella and a good time, congrats.

Calipers and brackets are the easy way to do it for sure. The Fords I work on do the same thing.
Shit design if you ask me. At least the older ones came apart reasonably easy to service them.

Brake pads on the piston side are done, the other side are 70% on these.

Still have the fronts to do ,Rotors are warped. Pads are low. Hopefully the callipers are good up there?
Should be, alot less crap gets sprayed on them.
I’d love to not drive it in the winter but I don’t want to drive a old beater for 6 months either.

Yeah but not when it’s -30.
I’m getting to old for that.

I wouldn’t call your Superduty a beater.
Ive been driving the blazer lately. The 15 yr old bfgs are kinda getting scarey but i love it. I really like driving my c30 with the 454 4spd but $4.45 a gal gas has forced it to only being used to feed big bales to the cows out in the pasture.

So…
Got the front brakes done the other day…. Easy was the drivers side. Pass side… had to go to town for another seized caliper! What a load of shit!
Anyway it brakes nice again.
