Threw together a quick half windshiled for a snow wheeling trip last week. It might help a little but definately think it needs the lip at the top. Messaged a company that makes half windshields for UTVs and they quoted me $155+shipping for a 54"x11" piece of 1/4" lexan with a bent lip. Seems kinda high for what it is. Might explore trying to bend one myself.
Also picked up a esab rebel welder for a home use and to take with on long wheeling trips. I wanted something that was 110/220 so can use at a campground or whatever and this fit the bill plus included the tig torch that all the other multi process machines was sold separately (tig pedal and a spool gun are sold separately). Played with it a little to test is all so far.
Here is video from the snow wheeling trip. The Rugged Radio headsets worked good as ear muffs too. Was running 8psi in the tires up untill that very last clip so was definitely working harder and funner in the snow.

Also changed up my wire routing up the windshield tube. I just don't like the look of a zip tie around tube so got some zip tie tabs from RuffStuff. Also cut a slot in the upper dash cover so I don't have to pull my oversize split grommet and unplug everything to take the top off. This is the upper LED light wiring and usb/audio wire for my tablet. I think this looks much cleaner.
Also the Griffin radiator started leaking. Took to radiator shop today and anytime he tried to heat up to do a repair another tube started leaking. He is setting me up with a comparable Northern Radiator so will see how that works out.
Also started setting up the Viair to run my rear ARB I will install shortly. Trying to decide if I really need to carry CO2 now that I will have a decent 100% duty cycle electric compressor. In all reality I haven't used air on my own rig for a few year, my buddies always need it. Should just sell them my CO2 setup....

I got rid of my CO2 when I put the 100% duty cycle compressor and haven't regretted it. Does fine filling four 37" tires from 12psi to 35psi. A little slower than CO2 but not horribly so. Course I doubt you put much air in your tires.
I typically air up to about 15 with the 43s. Snow wheeling that could be coming from 1 psi though.

Had to get a new radiator as every time he tried to repair a tube with a low heat epoxy the next tube would start leaking. Ended up with a Northern radiator but it was only 25" wide so the shroud had to be modified a little and overhang the side and use the recovery tank to cover the shroud. Also pop riveted the shroud on instead of welding as it came from griffin originally.
Also got the ARB locker installed in the rear. Instead of running the fitting through the housing as instructed and directly inside my truss I drilled through the thick flange of the cover area. I tapped it 1/4 npt from both top and bottom and modified the ARB bulkhead fitting to install it from the bottom to seal the 3.5mm copper line. From the top I used a standard 1/4" push lock nylon tube fitting so I didn't have to use the ARB 5mm line.
Also found one of the 14 bolt shafts has a twist in it so it will turn into a spare shaft.

How long has that shaft lasted
That shaft has been in service 2 years in the buggy. Was straight last winter when I shaved the rear housing. Obviously a junkyard axle originally though.
I had a bunch of that ARB air line left over that I thought I could use for my air system pressure gauge. Unit I figured out it was 5mm. Not convenient to find parts for.

Tried the ARB out snow wheeling last weekend. Worked good except one time I heard the compressor running non stop. Jumped out to find air hissing out of my diff breather vent. Thought lost an internal seal or copper line already. Turned it off for the time being then later on tried it again and no leak and worked rest of day and at the shop leak free. Not sure what that was all about. Anyways didn't see the need for a 100% duty cycle compressor and the CO2 tank so sold the CO2 to a buddy and picked up a small 1.5 gal air tank and mounted the compressor and tank where the CO2 used to be stored. The CO2 was nice since it was way fast but I rarely ever air up my tires so this Viair 444 will be just fine for when I do need it.
