You cant move those mounts at all mike?

I know on mine the lower part had oval holes that allowed for the clam shells to move up and down a little bit.


But maybe its just a SBC thing???

Are those mounts are centered on the mounting flange?

No stupid questions...
But. Yeah, it's centered on the mount.
I loosened all the bolts, and couldn't get close enough.

Spacers are what I need.
I'm just gonna stack washers to see what thickness I need.
I'll get it done.

These have channels, but they aren't enough.
Ya know.... It's wierd.

The motor is centered in the pic, Chris can attest to that.
So, the passenger side mount is correct.
But the driver side is off by ~1"....

can you redrill? Then the mounts would be lower as opposed to higher, and keep the motor a little lower and be easier to get at stuff.

Dropped the Motor Mounts... Welded 'em to the brackets.

402 is officially installed.

Then it's, brakes, wire the headlights and eng. stuff, and install the cooling system and Eng. Acc.

Just bought a 'Universal Jack Adapter', and a Furniture Dolly....

But, it didn't fit, so I just Tack welded it on...

Fed the 2400 stall TC it's mandatory first Quart...

And, fitted the TC...

Did I menton it looked like a Predator Drone?

As always... 2 steps forward.... Then.... Murphy!
