My '70 C/10 - The Rat Bastard... [Won't Idle.]

I like what you are doing! :waytogo:
But even if the grill was in bad shape it should not be painted black!?? :dunno:

sweet
I love tint
you going to run any on the sides? Just a tad if anything. Hell, I even did the entire from window on my DD, helps with glare

I wanna do 5% on the door windows....but, the Police would be all over that.
As sick as it would be... :D

~ Gotta love a "FREE" country, right? Where I have the right, to NOT have rights.~

So, I'll probably do 20% on the door windows.
That way, I can argue that, because it was FACTORY TINTED, it's within the law.
If they question it, they can check my glovebox dealer option tag... :deal:

California Tint law specifically states NO AFTERMARKET TINT ON FRONT-DOOR WINDOWS.

Well.... F*ck you, Johnny Law.... Cuz it CAME TINTED FROM THE FACTORY.
And, as the glass is "OE replacement" (prove it ain't) that its legal.

Easier to get away with at 20%, than 5%... :pimp:

FTP.
See you in court. :waytogo:

There's also a $123 'Stealth Tax'.
DMV adds it to yer registration.
I guess all the celebrities pay it.

I might to.
Pay for some more 'California, state-mandated-freedom'...

Do it now...those look so sick laying frame. Add some wide whites on steelies while you're at it. :waytogo:

Is this seriously a thing? I'd gladly pay that in a heartbeat for all my vehicles.
Where do I get more info on this?

Well.... It's only "hear-say", at this point.
I have yet to find real info on it.

I think the folks that were saying it existed, may have been BS'ing.
If I find it, I'll let you know.

Got my Q-Jet back..... Dammit, is this thing clean.... :D :pimp:

This is what Bill, at United Carb. And Auto, told me:

"Its 'factory tuned', for a truck, with a 402.
It has the normal upgrades, and should run perfect.
It's only a 'base tune', tho.
So bring it in when the truck runs, and we'll dial it in."

:woot:

Best $150 I've spent, in a looooooong time. :waytogo:

damn. sounds like a deal. does the $150 include tuning after its driving as well? either way as much as I hate carbs that sounds like a bargain.

It includes:

- Teardown & Rebuild.
- Modification.
- Test & Tune.
- 6-Month warrantee.

And, Bill is freakin' awesome! :thumb:
Like I said before, he seemed pretty excited to rebuild an old Q-Jet.
That was probably his bread & butter, back when. :D

Very cool guy to deal with.
Not fond of repeating himself, tho... :haha:

Nice! those old qjet guys are hard to find. :waytogo:

Sounds like a good deal to me! The kit plus a float is 60 bucks.:thumb:
