well i graduate and head back up to MT June 22nd so possibly sometime before then? I'd definatly be interested if i could come up with the funds!

Let me no a couple of weeks in advance ...Get ahold of me and we will talk about pricing and everything else...

I can build a 10k,12k,14k 20ft that it would all fit on... thats a long drive for a trailer.... My truck has 37-14.50-16 Iroks and they will barly rub the inside of the fenders.

i have 38x15 boggers and the truck is 91 inches wide....my trailer is 82 inches wide...im welding 6x4 angle to the sides to widen it to make it 94 inches wide...just to gimme a lil extra room getting on...i also am making my fenders removeable and building a wood block so i can run over the tires...i have seen to many trucks fall of the trailer trying to run over the tires alone...anyway just some food for thought...oh and i copied this idea from formud his truck fits with this same setup on 44 boggers...

The trailer will have a 9000lb T-MAX winch. My employer is a authorized dealer so i can get a refurb 9000lb with a warrenty cheaper then a new 3500lb. I will install a tounge box that is designed to hold the battery and the pump on a dump trailer. There is a battery box inside and the rest will be for my chains and binders etc.

couple of questions for you.

did you say something about a brake controller that is better then a prodigy? if so I geuss it's time for me to upgrade.

What weight are you registering it at? in PA anything heavier then 10K requires a CDL to pull or a combination tag below 26K.

Hear is a link to the info on both the Prodigy and the new P3.

The P3

The Prodigy

The P3 hase everything the Prodigy has and then some....
If anyone is interested in buyind eathier the P3 of the Prodigy, let me no. I can get them really cheap and send it to you.

I am going to register it for 12,00lb GVW. My trucks GVW is 8,800, There for the combination GVW will be 20,8000. I am pretty positive that 26,000lb combo (truck and trailer together) is the standerd limit before having to get a CDL.

The bottom side of the trailer is all welded up. We are setting the tounge now. The tounge will be 48" from the frame. We are using 6" channel.

thanks for the links. that thing looks awesome. I'm getting one.

Yes 26,000 lbs is the cut off for a CDL in most states. But you should check into trailer laws. In my state if you are pulling a trailer registered over 10K you need a CDL regardless of the combination of truck and trailer weights, unless of course you go to the effort to get a combination tag. if you do get a combo tag you can only pull the trailer with the truck it's combo tagged with.
